【教学内容】
Unit 1 Welcome back to school Part B
Let’s talk, Let’s learn & start to read
【课标要求】
能根据听到的词句识别或指认图片或实物;能根据录音模仿说话;能相互致以简单的问候,相互交流简单的个人信息;能在教师的指导下用英语做游戏并在游戏中进行简单的交际;能做简单的角色表演;能正确书写字母和单词。
【教材分析】
本节课的教学内容是三年级下册第一单元B部分。是在A部分的学习基础上进行的。学生通过A部分的学习已经掌握四个国家的名称,能使用句型进行介绍自己来自哪里。本课时将Let’s talk, Let’s learn和Start to read 结合,旨在帮助学生梳理,掌握四会单词,使用句型进行询问和回答来自哪个国家,能对第三人称she/he进行区分和使用。教学重点是使用会话在实际生活中进行交流。通过本课时的学习后,学生将对B部分的所有内容整体的梳理与掌握,教师在教学过程中要鼓励,引导,帮助,参与,及时的反馈与评价。
【学情分析】
三年级的学生在经过一学期的英语学习后,已对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣。养成了基本的英语学习习惯,了解了一定的英语学习技巧。对一些简单的课堂指令也能做出回应。我们要充分利用小学生天性活泼爱玩爱探索的天性,鼓励学生,加深对英语的兴趣。在教学中,设计各种竞赛,游戏,让学生在玩中学,比中学。
【教学目标】
Teaching Objectives:
1.Students can listen & speak, act out the dialogue.
2.Students can use the core words and sentence patterns to ask and answer in real situation: student; pupil; teacher; Where are you from I’m from….
3.Students should be able to distinguish between she and he in certain context.
4.Students can understand and sing the chant correctly.
5.Students can work in groups to make a dialogue and ask someone’s information.
6.Students can know the flags and representative animals of different countries, develop friendship through learning.
【教学重难点】

1.Understand and use the core words and sentences in a certain context.
2.Cultivate their ability to ask and answer personal information in real situation.

Teaching process
I Warm up &Lead-in
1.Greetings & A song
T: Boys and girls, welcome back to school, I’m so happy, let’s sing a song together. Play a song named “Where are you from ” write down the topic: U1 welcome back to school Part B
2.Show pictures of me and my hometown, say: I’m Monica,I’m from Fuyang, what about you Ask several students.
3.I like games, please join me. Show the game: super Mario, introduce the rules. Students finish the tasks with Mario, they can get prize in the end.
II Presentation
1. (Game level 1) Introduce two friends. Amy and Mr. Jones. Show Amy’s picture. Say: This is Amy. She’s a student/pupil. Teach she, student, pupil. Show some pictures of female. Emphasize “she”. Students fill the sentences with pics: This is . She’s a . Use the same way to teach “he, teacher”. Pay attention to the different use of he and she.
2. (Game level 2) Mr. Jones and Wu Binbin are talking. Let’s go and see. Play the video of the talk. After this, answer my questions: 1. Who’s the new student 2. Where is she from
3. Students read after the video with the subtitles. Then they should read after the video without the subtitles. Pay attention to the pronunciation of “from, new, where”
4. Students fill in the blanks in group, then they act out the whole dialogue.
III Practice
1.(Game level 3) show pic of pandas, lead students to ask: where are from Panda: I’m from China. Lead to the next animal, panda: where are you from Beaver: I’m from Canada…. For the last one, teach “Australia”.
2.Students ask and answer in rows. Then pick two rows to compete.
3.Make a dialogue with the picture and hints.
4.(Game level 4) Let’s chant. Teach the chant, then chant together.
IV Production
1.(Game level 5) finish the exercises. 1.Yes or No. 2. Listen and choose. 3.choose the right answers.
V Conclusion
Ask students to make a conclusion of Part B. Make a list of words and key sentences. Then read it together.
VI Homework
1.Read the words and sentences to you parents.
2.Finish the exercise.
