Language points
1. What’s the matter (教材P1图片文字)
本句是对某人患有疾病的询问，相当于What’s the trouble(with you) /
What’s the matter(with you) /What’s wrong (with you) /What ’s up (with you) /“你哪儿不舒服/怎么了 ”。此句型中matter，trouble是名词，故前要加冠词the。
如：—What’s the matter with you 你怎么了
—I have a toothache. 我牙疼。
2. I have a cold. (教材P1图片文字)
have 在此处作及物动词，意为“患病”，可与get或catch 互换。 cold 前可用bad，heavy等词修饰。have a bad cold意为“重感冒”。
Because the temperature dropped sharply, many students caught a bad cold.
如：由于气温急剧下降，许多学生得了重感冒。
【易错警示】have表示“患病”时， 不可用于进行时。
3. I have a stomachache. (教材P1图片文字)
stomachache 作名词，意为“胃痛；腹痛” 由“stomach(胃；腹部) + ache (疼痛)”构成。
tooth(牙齿) + ache = toothache （牙痛）
head(头) + ache = headache （头痛）
back(背) + ache = backache （背痛）
【拓展延伸】 “人体部位+ache” 常表示“……痛”，常见的还有：
