教学目标 【知识目标】1.能听、说、读、写单词taller，longer，older，younger，shorter。 2.能听懂句子:--How tall are you --I’m 1.61 metres.-- I’m taller. --You’re older than me, too. 3.能运用所学内容完成“Do a survey and report”任务。 【能力目标】能在课堂活动中运用所学的语言进行交际。 【情感目标】通过学习本部分内容，培养学生学习英语的兴趣，树立学生学习英语的信心。
教学重点 能够听、说、读、写5个形容词的比较级形式，并能在实际情境中运用。
教学难点 1.正确理解形容词比较级的概念及意义。 2.能根据某一情境使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换描述。

一、Warm-up (3mins) 1. Look and say T show her photo to Ss. 引出tall/ thin Try to say Adjectives to describe people or things。（tall /short, old/young, long/ short ） Try to guess Try to say. 展示图片回顾长短、大小 以图片的形式引入新的话题。 2.用音频加强学生对所学词汇读音、拼写、意义的直观印象，便于学生记忆。 3.反复对事物进行对比，突出比较级。
Presentation（13 mins） 播放音频，listen What are they talking about Try to answer -How old is Sarah -How old is Miss White -How tall is Jonh -How tall is Zhang Peng 比较这些孩子，让学生发现两两之间的年龄差异和身高差异。引出older与younger/ shorter 与 taller Let’s learn 老师教授学习新的单词: younger, older, taller, shorter, longer.学生自己在读一遍。 Try to say 新句型学习： ....is taller than.... 播放音频，巩固比较句型 --How old is ..... --....is older than... 展示肖战和王一博的照片比较他们的年级和身高 Xiao Zhan is ...than Wang Yibo. (taller/ older) Try to read 学习新词metres， centimetres 1.83m one point eight three metres 183cm one hundred and eighty-three centimetres 例举新的1.58m 158cm 进行操练
