John is ____ than Zhang Peng. 接着呈现并学习单词taller-shorter。 3.同样的方式,在创设的情景和语境中分别呈现、学习单词younger-older; shorter-longer。 4.Language points 演示形容词比较级的变化,学生找出拼写及发音规律。 5.Games 1)Sharp eyes. 快速闪现并认读单词; 2)Look and translate 根据英语单词,快速指出汉语意思。 教师观察学生跟唱歌谣的情况,给予指导或鼓励。教师根据学生认读单词的情况,发现问题,及时反馈和提供帮助。
设计意图:本学习活动旨在帮助学生在创设的语境中理解、识记单词,找出形容词比较级的构词和读音规律,内化语言,为语言输出奠定基础。
运用所学单词和句型 How tall / How old ... ...taller/older than...开展情景会话。(应用实践) 1.Read and answer 呈现课文中的对话和问题:How tall is John Who is older, Zhang Peng or John. 学生在对话中找出答案并回答。2.Listen, read and act out. 听读对话,然后与同伴表演对话。引导学生在语境中正确理解和使用taller, older。3.Fill and role-play.呈现情景图和句子架构,学生看图补全空缺并开展角色会话。4.Look, fill and say 看图表信息,补全句子空缺的部分。然后试着说出含有比较内容的句子。 教师观察学生能否理解核心句型并借助呈现的语言支架完成问答会话,根据学生的表现给予必要的提示和指导。
设计意图:本阶段学习活动引导学生在理解课文对话的基础上,开展角色会话或看图表达,以期运用语言理解意义,为真实表达做准备。
用英语调查小组成员的年龄和身高,并向全班作调查汇报。(迁移创新) 1.Do a survey and report 小组活动,调查小组成员的年龄和身高,然后做汇报,学会作比较。Sum up 学习小结。 教师观察小组成员间的交流表现,给予指导和反馈。
设计意图:本阶段的学习活动旨在帮助学生在真实语境中,灵活运用所学语言会话交流,发展语用能力。
Homework1.熟练朗读本课生词和小对话。在四线格上规范书写单词三遍。
2.根据对本组成员年龄和身高的调查, 运用形容词比较级编写句子,不少于四句。
