教材分析 This period is the first lesson of Unit 5. The topic of this period focuses on sport and sportmanship. The text of this period is about a girl’s unforgettable experience of skiing. It was the first time for the girl to experience skiing and she tries her best to learn how to ski during the holiday. Although she fails at first, she never gives up trying and finally succeeds in learning how to ski. Meanwhile, the text enables students to better understand how to use certain expressions to show feelings so as to make the article more vivid and readable.
学习 目标 Knowledge objectives: 1)Grasp the main idea of the reading passage of “Skiing: An unforgettable experience”. 2)Understand the details of the passage. Skill objectives:1)Be able to guess the meaning of words according to pictures or context, and exercise specific image thinking. 2)Use reading skills to read the passage. Emotional objectives: Express one’s own concern for sport and sportmanship. Thinking quality objectives:Training method.
重点 1.Students master the key words, phrases, language points in this lesson. 2.Students can use key words and phrases to talk about sport and sportmanship. 3.Students can get the main idea of the passage.
