一、can的基本用法:
情态动词can
1. 表示能力,意为“能;会”。
Tom can speak Chinese. 汤姆会说汉语。
2. 表示请求或许可,意为“可以”。
Can you help me 你能帮我一把吗?
3. 表示推测,意为“可能”,常用于否定句和疑问句。
Tom can’t be at home. 汤姆不可能在家。
二、can构成的各种句式:
1. 肯定句:主语+ can +动词原形+其他.
He can play the piano. 他会弹钢琴。
2. 否定句:主语+ can’t +动词原形+其他.
He can’t play the piano. 他不会弹钢琴。
3. 一般疑问句:Can +主语+动词原形+其他
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + can.
否定回答:No, 主语 + can’t.

write动词,意为“写作;写字”;还可意为“写(信)”,常用短语:write (a letter) to sb. 意为“给某人写信”。

这是一个选择疑问句。说话人提出两种或两种以上的情况,要求对方选择一种情况回答,这种问句叫做选择疑问句。选择疑问句中用or连接两个选择项,or意为“或者;还是”。回答选择疑问句不能用Yes或No,而是选择什么答什么。读选择疑问句时,or前面的部分用升调,or后面的部分用降调。

talk用作不及物动词,意为“说话;交谈”。表示与某人说话时,应在其后加介词to或with;要表示谈论什么事物则应在其后加about。

【辨析】talk, say, speak与tell
talk 意为“说话;交谈”,一般用作不及物动词,常与to, with, about等介词连用。
say 强调“说”的内容,常用作及物动词,后接说话内容。
speak 意为“说话;讲话”。作不及物动词,不强调说话的内容;作及物动词,其后的宾语一般是表示某种语言的名词。
tell 意为“告诉”,作及物动词,后面常接双宾语。
Let me talk to him. 让我和他交谈。

May I speak to Mr. Li 我可以和李先生通话吗?
I can speak English. 我会说英语。
