1、教学内容分析
本课内容是复习单元的第四课时。本部分通过Mike收到学校的毕业典礼晚会邀请函作为背景,引出一般将来时态的用法。
2、学情分析
六年级的学生在五年级下册的时候就已经系统的学过一般将来时态的用法。对于他们来说这个内容并不陌生。因此本节课对于学生的要求并不只是简单地复习了解一般将来时态,学生应该能看懂邀请函,并能够写简单的邀请函,还能够对收到的邀请函做出书面回应。因此本课时重点在于锻炼学生的阅读能力和写作能力。
3、教学目标
1.能听、说、认读单词 farewell及短语 give prizes、see you。
2.能够了解英语邀请函的格式,能够用英语书写邀请函,并能够回复别人的邀请。
四、重难点
重点:
能够了解英语邀请信的格式,能够听懂、读懂、内化邀请函的内容,并掌握基本的阅读策略。
难点:能够用英语书写邀请函,并能够回复别人的邀请,培养基础英文写作能力。
5、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1.Let’s sing:

2.Free talk:
Summer holiday is coming. Where are you going When are you going Who are you going with What are you going to do
[设计意图:通过唱歌,活跃了课堂气氛。再通过师生简单的问答,引出本节课的重点句型并复习这个重点句型。]
Step 2 Lead-in
Show different kinds of invitations and talk about the invitations in pair.
T:Do you know what these are
Ss:Yes. They are invitations.
T: Great! Can you tell me what an invitation should include You can discuss with your partner.
[设计意图:通过观察各类邀请函,便于学生自主总结邀请函的要素。这样不仅锻炼了学生的英语阅读检索的技能,同时也提高了学生的观察能力和归纳总结能力。]
Step 3 Presentation

1.General reading
Show Mike’s invitation and listen.

2.Detail reading
Read the invitation again, answer some questions and then finish the table. You can discuss in your group.

3.Listen and repeat
Listen again and read after the tape.

4.Show the table again and retell the invitation.
[设计意图:学生根据自己填写的表格,按照内容将短文复述一遍,即再次熟悉了原文,又锻炼学生的语言的表达能力。]

1.Write a reply. If you are Mike, are you going to the party What will you do at the party
[设计意图:通过练习,帮助学生掌握如何回复他人的邀请。]
2.Design your own invitation.
Design your own invitation for your birthday party/ Halloween/New Year’s party/Children’s Day party. You can design anyone you like with your partners.
[设计意图:本环节通过设计自己的邀请书,整合了本课的语言知识和内容,同时也能够调动孩子们的积极性。]
Step 5 Homework
1.Design your own invitation.
2.Send your invitation to each other, and reply the invitation you recieve.
[设计意图:孩子们互相寄送邀请函,并给自己受到的邀请函写回复,再次激发学生的学习兴趣,并运用到自己平时的生活中,学以致用。]
