五、Grammar
1. 直接宾语和间接宾语
Give me some glasses中，动词give后面有两个宾语，即直接宾语some glasses和间接宾语me。人称代词作宾语时要用人称代词的宾格。间接宾语一班放在直接宾语之前。如果直接宾语是人称代词，就须在间接宾语之前加介词to，并把这个带to的间接宾语放在直接宾语之后。如：Give it to me.
2. 介词on的用法
介词不能在句中独立充当一个成分，而需和一个名词或与之相当的词构成介词短语，在句中充当一个成分。和介词构成短语的那个部分称为介词的宾语。介词on在不同的搭配情况下有不同的含义，先介绍以下几种：
（1）表示“天”，“日期”
on Monday 在星期一
on May 3rd在5月3日
on Monday morning 在周以早上
（2）在……之上（由指在某物的表面上）
on the wall 在墙上
on the table 在桌上
3. 不定代词one的用法
（1）不定代词one指不定人称时，表示“人”，有反身代词oneself和物主代词one’s。
（2）不定代词one可用来代替前面出现过的可数名词，避免重复。它有复数形式ones，可以与冠词连用。
注意：one前面可用this，that，the，which等词修饰。
4.指示代词this，that，these，those
①this 用来指离说话者位置较近的人或者物，以及时间上较近的场合。
②that 用来指离说话者位置较远的人或者物，以及时间上较远的场合。
③these是this的复数形式，those是that的复数形式。
this、that和is连用，而these、those和are连用。
注意：this is，these are，those are不存在缩写形式，只有that is 有缩写形式that’s
