通过师生问答,学生能回忆起Unit 1里有关Tony经历的内容,并能用现在完成时简单介绍自己的旅行经历。 通过使用扫读和略读的策略,了解文章的大意和每段的主要内容,把握标题指代信息,完成阅读任务。 通过完成每段设置的正误判断、回答问题等精读任务,85%的同学能从文本中推断出细节有关旅居埃及的信息,其他同学在教师点拨和同伴互助中达成目标。了解西方人热衷旅行,追求自由的个性,了解各地不同的地理环境和风景名胜。 通过小组交流、列出框架,85%的同学能通过比照课文形成写作框架,从而写一篇文章介绍自己的旅行经历,其余同学能在老师和同学的帮助下,形成写作框架,从而写出一篇介绍自己经历的文章。
重难点及突破措施 重点:细节推断、逻辑分析、时态转换的阅读技巧的运用 突破措施:使用扫读和略读的阅读策略,设计选择题、判断正误、填空等不同题型,层层深入,加深对文章的了解。 难点:国名、地名、人名等生词难读。时态转换不熟练。句子结构分析不清。 突破措施:了解每段的段落大意,小组合作讨论,感受文章结构,搭建写作框架。

Step 2 Fast reading (Aim 2) Look through the passage quickly and find the answer. 1. Who has seen the Pyramids 2. Please match the subtitles(小标题) with each paragraph. 1. Teacher asks the question: How could we find the answers 2. Students give tips. 3. Students look through the passage quickly and find the answer. 4. Share the answers with the whole class. 5. Explain how he/she finds the answer and what the reason is. 6. Other students add their ideas if any. 能正确完成代词指代和段落小标题匹配的泛读任务。 班内展示,陈述理由。 阅读理解策略学生总结可能不全,需教师补充: (1)把握疑问词,确定找什么方向的信息(Who→找人名) (2)匹配题要先读小标题,再读原文,重点关注原文每段的首尾句。
Step 3 Careful reading (Aim 3) Read Para. 1-2 and check T or F. 1. Mike is elder than Clare. 2. Cairo is the biggest and busiest city in Asia. 3. The Robinsons have stayed in Egypt for 2 years. 4. Peter has been to Germany, France and China before. Read Para. 3 and answer the questions.

Help each other solve their problems. 3.Students share answers, translate difficult sentences and explain why it is true or false. If false, they should correct them. The other students mark the answers in their book. Task II: 1.Read Para. 3 and answer the questions. 2.Students share answers, using full sentences. 3.Students try to pronounce the 3 words correctly (pyramid, Nile, palace). One student/Teacher reads them and students repeat. 4.Teacher asks: Do the 3 sentences have the same part Can we delete them and combine the 3 sentences into 1 How?Students answer the question. 5. Students prepare for retelling Para.3 in 2 minutes. Then share their retelling with the tip words. Task III: 1.Read Paragraph 4-5 and answer the questions.(Students who has problem understanding the questions can ask their neighbor students for help in a low voice.) 2. Students translate the question, share the answer and location, and explain the reason. The others assess his/her answer and make notes. 3.Teacher continue asking questions about students’ answers: What does ‘it’ stand for Can you try to guess the meaning of ‘mix’ Students try to explain the grammar and conclude reading tips here. (根据上下文合理猜词,关注同义转换) 1.能正确完成判断正误、回答问题等阅读题目,解释理由,分析和总结方法。组内交流,班内展示。 2.能在教师点拨下利用关键词当堂复述出目标段落;课上完成不了的同学能说出段落的核心结构词,课下及时串联背诵。 1.段落复述中,生词、难读的词较多,部分学生难以在规定时间内完成,需要通过给出关键词来辅助复述,降低难度。 2.猜词过程中(mix)会有提前预习课文的同学已经能识别其含义,需要提醒这些同学为其他同学留出思考时间。
Step 4 Post reading (Aim 3) If possible, would you choose to live in the Robinsons’ way What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Robinsons’ way of life 1. Think about the questions. 2. Talk in groups and make a list and write down their ideas. 3. Share them with classmates. Have an informal debate. 能简要恰当地表达自己的想法,总结出2-3条罗宾逊一家这种旅行生活的优缺点。 生词制约表达,鼓励学生多尝试“换一种说法”,不要生造表达。

Write notes and explain: where you have you been to when you went there why it was special 1. Use mind map to list some key words. 2. Write a passage about their travelling experience, using the present perfect tense. 课上能列出写作框架(三段式),课后完成作文。
