How many places in China are on the World Heritage List now
In July, 2021, “Quanzhou: Emporium of the World in Song-Yuan China” in Fujian province was admitted into the World Heritage List.
So far, there are in total 56 Chinese sites on the list.
Chinese heritages on The World Heritage List
1. This heritage lies in Xi’an, Shanxi province. After 20
years of careful excavation three underground vaults
(墓穴) opened to the public in 1979, 1989, and 1994.
