猴子和猩猩的区别
所谓的猴子,指的是还有尾巴的灵长类,而猩猩、人猿或金刚，指的则是尾巴已经像人一样进化到消失的灵长类。这样的灵长类,有着更高的智慧、有着更灵巧的双手、有着更多的情绪与沟通,甚至还懂得如何一代代知识传承。
猩猩是动物界脊索动物门脊椎动物亚门哺乳纲灵长目真猴亚目窄鼻猴次目。在此意义上说，猩猩属于猴子，它和猴子是一类，没有本质的区别。但猩猩属于窄鼻猴次目中的类人猿超科，习惯上把类人猿超科区别于猴子，因为类人猿超科除了含有猩猩等的类人猿科外，还包括人科。
从上面已经看到，猩猩只是从猴子分化出来的，在动物学分类上比猴子更高级的动物。
猩猩,哺乳动物，猿类，毛赤褐色，前肢长，无尾，吃野果。产于南洋群岛的森林中。
