Unit 2 Keeping Healthy Topic 1 复习课教学设计
一、教学内容简析:
本课为仁爱版英语八年级上册第二单元Keeping Healthy话题的第二单元的第一个话题。这是第一轮复习,本节课主要对这一话题学过的相关词汇、句式等进行梳理、归纳,使之清晰化。
二、学情分析
初三的学生已接基本学习了整套初中仁爱教材的内容,但本班学生平时的及格率为百分之三十到四十左右,而且两级分化严重。虽然基础不太好,但大多数学生比较活跃,也较喜欢英语课堂。基于本班学情,本轮复习主要是落实“双基”为主,设计的复习内容主要是基础知识的运用和基本技能的训练。有针对性地进行教学,丰富并提升他们对基础知识的掌握和运用,通过设计不同的教学活动,使各层次的学生都习有所得、学有所获。本堂课我将采取多种多样的教学方法,充分调动学生的学习热情,让学生轻松快乐的学习。
三、教学目标
1. 知识目标:
1)复习巩固并运用下列词汇:
有关疾病的词汇:have the flu, have a cold, have a fever, have a headache,
have a toothache, have a backache, have a sore throat, have sore eyes.
情态动词:should, shouldn’t; had better, had better not.
其它词汇:health,healthy等。
2)掌握并运用以下重点句式:
What’s the matter with him
What’s wrong with him
He has a ...
Nothing serious!
I don’t feel like eating anything.
He should/had better...
She shouldn't / had better not..
3)询问疾病和给出建议
2. 能力目标:
1)通过小组讨论,能对疾病的词汇进行归类总结记忆。
2)通过情境,能猜出医生与病人之间有关询问疾病和给出建议的句子。
3)通过本课的复习,能默写相关的单词,并做这些单词的变音题。
3. 情感目标:
通过本话题的学习,正确认识健康的重要性,要注意健康问题。
四、教学重点、难点
重点:谈论疾病和询问疾病与给出建议的句型与对话
难点:易错介词with, without;feel like和不定代词与形容词的搭配。
五、教学方法
以“任务型”教学为途径,综合采用情境法、思维导图法、小组讨论法等进行教学。
六、教具准备
主要以现代化电教手段--多媒体辅助教学,实物投影等。
七、教学过程
Step1.Greetings and lead in
Activity 1.Watch a short video《健康歌英语版》
Activity 2.Greetings: What’s the Healthy Song about How are you (A small
talk about health.)
Activity 3.Lead in: Showing a picture: a boy has the flu.
T: What’s the matter with him
Ss: He has the flu.
T: Yes, the flu may cause a headache, a cough, a fever, a runny nose or a sore throat. So we must try our best to keep healthy.Good health is very important for everyone.Healthy food is very necessary for everyone.
Activity 4. Discuss in groups of four:
Task 1(任务1). Sum up the names of illness. (归纳有关疾病的词汇)
Task 2. Ask for and giving advice about illness. (询问疾病和给出建议的句型有哪些?)
Task 3.Modal verbs. (情态动词有哪些?should;had better的用法?)
设计意图:通过视频,学生开始情绪高昂,有学习英语歌曲的欲望和猜测课题的反应。通过图片情境引发学生对健康话题相关词汇的回顾,同时导入health 和healthy这两个学生容易用错的单词,为下一步进入文本的复习做好铺垫。
Step 2. Sum up the names of illness.
Activity 1.Draw up the outline and review the names of illness.
做个简单的思维导图,提供个框架和重要提示词ache 和sore让学生系统地记忆有关疾病的名称。
设计意图:通过完成思维导图,训练学生快速、准确地提取、归纳与表达信息的能力。同时培养学生的逻辑思维、发散思维、批判性思维的能力,为后续的写奠定基础。
Activity 2. Words fillings.

设计意图:及时巩固与运用词汇,再次熟悉单词。为后续的默写单词奠定基础。
Step 3. Ask for and giving advice about illness.
Activity 1.创设情境: In the doctor's office.
T: If you have a stomachache and you don’t know how to do, what should you do You had better go to see a doctor.
让学生猜猜医生和病人之间会说什么?提示学生完成对话:
D: You don't look well. What’s the matter
P: I have a stomachache. I'm feeling terrible.
D: How long have you been like this
P: Two days.
D: Let me check you over. Nothing serious! Don’t worry about it! Do you have breakfast every morning
P: No, I don’t feel like eating anything with an empty stomach.
D: That’s a bad habit. Going to school without breakfast is bad for your health.Take the medicine twice a day and you will get well soon.
Activity 2.学生朗读后,超链接强化训练下划线的重难点单词和搭配。

设计意图:通过两两看图对话,充分运用本课的重点句型和情态动词,同时观察句子来总结情态动词的用法。综合所学的知识进行口语表达,通过同伴交流,相互问答,巩固语言知识,做到人人有事可做。
Activity 3. Written work in groups of four.以四人为一组,以上示意图为由,给出合理建议, 两分钟完成)
情境:If you have the flu, what should you do
Work in a group of four, give suggestions using “You should____________. You had better____________. You shouldn’t __________.You had better not __________.”
设计意图:综合所复习的知识进行书面表达,通过练笔训练、同伴互评及小组交流,相互学习,取长补短,巩固语言知识,提升写作水平。能完成简单的句式,把双基落到实处。
Activity 4. 默写单词与辨音训练

设计意图:通过本话题的复习,巩固单词永远都是学习英语的基础。坚持每课单词必测,积累词汇量。同时进行变音训练,一举两得,为中考做好充分的准备。因材施教,教有所用有所得,讲究实效性。

设计意图:通过回顾与反思本节课所复习的内容,分享自己的收获 ,相互解决问题 。即课堂上发现问题,解决问题。
Activity 2. 教师赠言:

设计意图:用谚语来强化与升华情感目标,拓展课外英语知识,认识健康的重要性,也要重视健康。也为下节课如何保持健康做好后续准备与思考。

设计意图:及时巩固所学知识,对本节课的教学进行及时反馈与后续强化。
