对句子中的某一部分讲行提问,以what, when, who, how, where, why等疑问词引导的疑问句叫特殊疑问句。特殊疑问句应根据具体内容作答,不能用yes或no回答。特殊疑问句读时一般用降调。

巧记:特殊疑问句的结构
who
who作疑问代词,意为“谁”。用于询问“某人” ,在句中可作主语、宾语、表语。作主语时,谓语动词多用单数形式。
whom意为“谁”,只在句中作宾语;
whose意为“谁的”,只在句中作定语。
例:Who is in the classroom (作主语)

when作疑问副词,意为“什么时候;何时”。用于询问年、月、日、星期这样的时间。
例:— When is your birthday

4. 特殊疑问句中助动词的使用规律
1). 特殊疑问词放在最前面;
2). 如果有动词 be,直接主谓倒置;

特殊疑问句在回答时不能用yes/no来回答,可以使用完整答语,也可以只回答提问部分。
