“It’s time (for sb.) to do sth.”与“It’s time for sth.”的区别
“It’s time (for sb.) to do sth.”意为“到了(某人)做某事的时候了。”,to后面接动词原形。该句型可与“It’s time for sth.”句型相互转换,但需注意的是,for后面接名词、代词或动名词,且接的名词前通常不加冠词。如:
It’s time to have breakfast. =It’s time for (having) breakfast. 到了该吃早饭的时候了。

1. 插入语是一个句子中的插入成分,起补充或限定作用。将一个句子中的插入语删除后,句子仍然能够成立。如在句子“What cartoons do you think are funny ”中,去掉“do you think”后,余下的成分仍能构成一个完整的句子。
2. 特殊疑问句中加入插入语“do you think”后,整个疑问句应当保持陈述语序。如:
原句:What should I do first (倒装语序)
加入插入语后:What do you think I should do first (改为陈述语序)
原句:Who is singing (陈述语序)
