教学目标 通过本课时学习,学生能够在看、听、说的活动中,认读、识记单词thinner, heavier, bigger, smaller, stronger;理解形容词比较级的三种变化形式(学习理解)2. 在情景中运用句型 How heavy are you ...heavier/smaller than...开展会话练习。(应用实践)3. 灵活运用形容词比较级描述身边人或物的特征。(迁移创新)
教学建议 运用PPT课件,通过创设情景,在情节、语境中学习、运用词汇。采用任务型活动,激发学生主动探知新知。

在看、听、说的活动中,认读、识记单词thinner, heavier, bigger, smaller, stronger;理解形容词比较级的三种变化形式。(学习理解) Warm up Listen and chant My small cat.Let’s learn1.Look and discuss T:The children are having outdoor activities. Choose a topic(话题)for them. 呈现本课情境图,完成话题选择。2.New Words bigger& smaller呈现第一幅图,由人物对话引出问题Whose shoes are bigger 在语境中引出单词bigger, smaller. 学生听音跟读,然后观察单词变化特点。3.同样的方式,在创设的情景和语境中分别呈现、学习单词stronger, thinner-heavier。 4.Language points 逐一呈现所学词汇,学生找出拼写及发音的变化,引导学生发现并总结形容词比较级的变化规律。 5.Practice 1)Look and judge 判断单词书写是否正确; 2)Listen and order 听音,给图片排序。 教师根据学生认读单词的情况,发现问题,及时反馈和提供帮助。
设计意图:本学习活动旨在帮助学生在创设的语境中理解、识记单词,找出形容词比较级的构词和读音规律,内化语言,为语言输出奠定基础。
在情景中运用句型 How heavy are you ...heavier/smaller than...开展会话练习。(应用实践) 1.Choose and say 呈现图片和句型结构… is heavier/smaller/bigger/stronger/thinner than ...学生看图说出恰当的句子。2.Fill and role-play呈现情景图和句子架构,学生看图补全空缺并开展角色会话。 3.Ask and answer 看图,运用核心句型与同伴开展会话练习。4.Match and say P7 1)T:The children are fishing. Can you match these fish with them 学生把人物与所钓的鱼连线,然后说出每个人所钓的鱼形状特点。 2)Look, fill and say 运用所学形容词比较级补全空缺,练习说句子。 教师观察学生能否理解核心句型并借助呈现的语言支架完成问答会话,根据学生的表现给予必要的提示和指导。
设计意图:本阶段学习活动引导学生在理解课文对话的基础上,开展句子练习或角色会话,以期运用语言理解意义,为真实表达做准备。
灵活运用形容词比较级描述身边人或物的特征。(迁移创新) Compare and say Compare the school things or body parts with your partner and say like this. 小组活动,运用身体部位或学习物品作比较,说句子。Sum up 学习小结。 教师观察小组成员间的交流表现,给予指导和反馈。
设计意图:本阶段的学习活动旨在帮助学生在真实语境中,灵活运用所学语言会话交流,发展语用能力。

2.就身边人或物, 运用所学形容词比较级编写句子,不少于四句。
