教材分析 外研版教材教学理念是功能-结构-话题-任务有机结合。该教材总体目标是激发学生英语学习兴趣，掌握英语语言技能，培养学生自主学习能力和合作精神，同时了解中西文化差异，拓展视野，培养爱国主义精神，形成健康的人生观。该教材每个学习模块分为三个小单元，第一单元以培养学生的听说能力为主，并包括词汇语法和语音学习活动。 学生在学习的过程中应当了解英语这门语言的历史和变化。本模块话题英语语言学习在八年级上册M1中有详细的学习，学生对这个话题比较熟悉，也有话可说，但对于英语的历史发展和变化，以及英语的国际性和普遍性方面，学生需要透过语言的地位去分析挖掘藏在语言背后的原因。同时教师要引导学生迁移思考汉语的发展和汉语的未来。本模块的语法知识主要是系统的复习状语从句，有一定的难度，一定要记住：“意义第一，结构第二”的原则，帮助学生更好的理解各类状语从句。
学情分析 授课班级初三4班，学生课堂气氛比较活跃，英语基础尚可。对英语语言学习的话题比较感兴趣，也希望通过掌握更多更好的语言学习方法，提升自己的英语水平。本节课是第一课时，在上本节课之前，学生已经熟悉了本模块的单词，并复习了八年级上册M1的相关词汇。
设计思路 本单元听说课型学生的大任务是指导学生语言学习（英语）的学习动机和学习策略，给出学习英语的建议，让学生提高英语的学习效率，增加英语学习的自信心。 学生通过听英文歌填词（A little love）进入比较轻松愉悦的英语学习氛围中，感受并尽可能去享受英语语言的魅力；通过快速识记单词比赛，让学生在课前熟悉文中会涉及的词汇，为上课听力做好铺垫（创设英语学习情景，扫除词汇障碍）。 2、学生通过观看《精通英语意味着什么》小视频，让学生明确在当今社会学好英语的重要性；顺势问学生平时是如何学习英语的？（学生记录精通英语的具体优势并思考自己该如何学好英语）。 3、学生通过听课文对话，听懂玲玲是如何学习英语的，能够说出来英语角存在的意义，明白学习英语的主要目的和方式就是交流，学习英语就是要坚持不懈。 4、学生通过思考总结玲玲英语学习成功的做法，结合自己的英语学习过程总结一些有效并可操作的英语学习方法，与同伴互相学习。 5、从学英语上升到学习任何一门语言，让学生思考学习任何一门外语中最重要的是什么？学生通过观看听托尼和父亲的对话并观看《精通多门语言的秘诀》小视频，总结学习语言中最重要的就是要enjoy the learning process and work hard for it。 6、学生通过自我评价，为本节课自己的表现和收获进行客观评价，教师总结点评。
学习目标 在本课学习后，学生能够： 语言能力方面：听懂关于语言学习的信息，并状语从句描述自己对英语学习的看法和自己在英语学习中取得的进步。 思维品质方面：通过发散思维，思考英语语言学习的方面和有效的学习方法，提高学生从视频中获取有效信息的能力； 学习能力方面：训练学生发散思维的能力、小组合作的能力； 文化品质方面：理解英语的重要性，关注汉语的影响力，培养对汉语的热爱，增强名族自豪感。

Watch video of the dialogue and imitate the emotion and intonation of the speaker. 训练学生泛听和精听技能 让学生带着问题去听，听的过程中去思考
Task 4 After listening Read the dialogue aloud in plete the passage according to the dialogue. Ask Ss to think what Lingling has done to learn English Ask Ss to talk about their problems in learning English and discuss some good ways to solve the problems. 熟悉对话内容 思考玲玲学习英语中值得学习的地方是什么 谈论学生自己学习英语中遇到的问题，并分小组讨论一些好的方法来解决问题
Task 5 Thinking Ask Ss to think about: What is the most important thing in learning English Listen to the dialogue between Tony and his dad, try to figure out the thing that Tony’s dad think is necessary in learning a language. Watch a video about a multi language learner and think about her ways of learning a new language. 通过了解不同语言学习者的感受，思考学习一门语言最重要的是什么？
Task 6 Summary Encourage Ss: Whenever you learn a new language, remember to enjoy the learning process and work hard for it. 鼓励学生喜欢并能享受学习语言的过程，并为之不懈努力。

Self -reflection 本节课优点：思路清晰，适当整合教材为主题服务，有让学生聚焦思维 本节课还需要改进的地方：公开课应严格控制时间；引入部分略长，要学会根据学生的反应对授课内容作出适时调整；听力练习在处理的过程中显得有些僵硬，应当把听力练习融合进入到后面的思考问题中，让学生在听的过程中去思考；课前可以对学生的英语学习情况进行调查统计，上课可以根据学生的情况进行分组，相同情况或者有相同问题的学生分进同一小组，这样在分组讨论的过程中，学生的参与度和积极性会更好；学生提出学习英语的方法应当规划进学生后期的学习过程中，去主动实践，可以作为课后学习的延伸。(共32张PPT)
