“Are they expensive?” she asks. “I don’t have very much money.”
“You can buy four for only one dollar,” says Brian.They’re cheap!That’s fine. I’ll take four, please.“Great!” says Brian. “One dollar, please.”
The girl takes a one-dollar bill from her purse and pays for her cookies. “Do you have any other things for sale?” she asks.
“No, I’m afraid not,” says Brian. “I’m only selling cookies. But my friend Danny is selling something, too.”
“What’s he selling?” she asks.
“I don’t know,” says Brian, “but his table is over there.”

“No, that’s too expensive. I’m afraid I can’t afford it. I only have some coins. I gave my other money to Brianj for some cookies.
