通过本课的学习,可以让学生带着向往的心情了解兰州,从而吸引学生的注意力积极参与课堂活动。

Show some pictures about Lanzhou. Let students get to know about the city.

五、课后反思
本节课的内容让学生们学习起来比较兴奋,因为又可以了解另一个城
市—美丽的兰州,通过对话表演的形式,带着向往的心情学习本课,有助于
学生积极参与,这时老师应该给与适当的语言鼓励和激励,帮助他们树立学
好英语的信心,并努力创设机会让他们去体验成功的快乐。
学生在参与对话表演一环节时,表现出很积极踊跃,但还需加强学生的
口语表达,语音语调的练习,还可充分发挥实物和肢体动作的作用,使表演
更加活泼。观看的同学应保持安静和欣赏的态度,老师可以用即兴提问的方式来检验学生们是否认真观看了对话表演,这也是一种练习听力的好方法。Lesson 5 Another Stop along the Silk Road

Step 1 Class opening (1 minute )

T: Today we will know another stop along the Silk Road

Step 2 Learn new words:( 5 minutes )
T: We see the group again, Where do they arrive
Ss: The group arrives in Dunhuang.
T: So great! This is an amazing city. It’s one of the main stops on the Silk Road.
Let’s visit someplace with the group. Oh,Look!
There is the Mogao Caves in the City of Sands.
The group can’t believe it ! They are walking on the same road as Marco Polo.
It is safe to ride a camel. You will not fall off. Look ! Danny and Jenny onto the camels !
Yay !This is fun!

本单元的中心内容围绕“trip”话题编排,贴近生活,能够激发学生的学习兴趣。本课以邮件的形式呈现,Jenny、Danny 和李明将要在北京见面,并将开始一段愉快的中国之旅。旅行计划所去到的地方都是学生们熟悉的,容易激发学生的兴趣和向往,能够热烈的进行讨论。

T:Discuss with partners about traveling and the way to travel.
And show pictures to lead the new lesson. Jenny and Danny will come to Beijing of China. They will go to the beautiful city-Xi’an.

五、课后反思
本课取得了很好的教学效果,课堂气氛活跃,学生也有所收获。通过和学生的课下交流及自己的反思,我认为本课具有如下特点:
本课的话题内容贴近学生的生活,易激发学生积极参与到课堂活动中来。
利用实物卡片,对话表演,头脑风暴等方式培养孩子学习英语的兴趣,激发他们的表现欲,并适时的进行语言鼓励和表扬,树立学生敢于开口说英语的自信心。
充分利用师友互助合作的课堂教学模式,让每一个学生都积极参与,积极思考,成为课堂活动的主人。
本节课也存在一些不足,需要在今后更加用心的设计课堂活动,更加关注一些羞于开口,或声音过低不自信的学生,作为老师需要不断地鼓励,帮助其树立自信,大胆快乐的学习。同时还需关注潜能生,可以降低活动难度,给他们展示的机会和适时的鼓励,从而提高他们的学习兴趣。作为老师,也可以参与到学生的活动中,和他们一起动起来。Book Two

2.Present: Tell the students that today they will learn how to ask for permission and how to use the word “will”to express something that is going to happen or something you want to in the future.For example: “I am standing. I will sit later.”Ask the class to give some more examples.
3.Listen: Let’s Do It! No.1.
(1)Play the tape for Lesson 1(Play it once and ask the students to listen.)
(2)Discuss the answers to Let’s Do It!
(3)Play the tape for Lesson 1 a second time and have the class read aloud along with the tape.
4.Review what was learned. Ask the class to point out the“May I ... ”and “will”sentences in the lesson.
5.Group work:
(1)Have the class read and answer the questions in Let’s Do It! No.2.

四、教学反思
以旧带新,轻松突破教学重点
鼓励学生大胆地说英语,对他们在学习过程中犯的错误采取宽容的态度.
2)根据教材中的情境,真实再现于课堂并创造新的环境。
3)在教学过程中,注重与学生沟通,让学生消除对英语学习的恐惧感,只有对英语感兴趣,才能保持英语学习的动力并取得好成绩.刻板的学习,不仅会影响英语学习的效果,适得其反让他们厌恶学习英语.因此创造宽松、和谐的学习氛围有利于英语学习.
4)差生上课时注意往往不够集中,我就将教材化难为易,化多为少,精讲多练,课堂上尽量创造愉快的氛围。差生由于羞怯心理往往怕开口,我尽量将难易适度的问题去问他们;叫他们到黑板上写有把握的句子;朗读事先已读过多遍的课文,当差生回答正确时。我总是面常笑容地说:“very good”,他们往往因得到这两个激动,这样差生开口的习惯慢慢的养成。一学期下来,差生的参与意识大大地加强,消除了畏惧心理,
5)背诵一个小对话,背会了用自己的话把它复述出来,这样增加学习英语的自信心.
6)对学生进行有效的评价。

教材分析:本单元主要围绕“旅行”展开话题。教材为学生创设了了解中国其他城市的环境。帮助学生练习并掌握在新环境中如何用英语介绍一个城市的标志以及特色。增进了学生们对于祖国的了解与热爱。
教学目标
语言技能:能用自己的语言介绍出一个城市的特色,标志性建筑,了解西安的文化。
掌握一些基本词汇的用法:

⑴ 激发学生热爱祖国,了解祖国的热情。

四 教学反思:
本课取得了很好的教学效果,课堂气氛活跃,受到了学生的一致好评。经过反思,我认为本课具有如下特点:
图片生动形象,可以帮助学生形象记忆、理解。适时的进行语言鼓励和表扬,激发学生的学习兴趣。
本节课充分锻炼了学生的听、说、读、写等能力。
练习充分为中考做准备。
充分利用师友互助,小组合作的模式,让每一个学生都加入到课堂活动中来,成为课堂活动的主体,充分调动每个学生学习英语的积极性,不让一个学生掉队。
但在活动中看到一些学生声音过低,这需要老师不断地鼓励,今后还要给更多的机会给这样的学生,使他们摆脱内向自卑,大胆快乐的学习英语。

Step 1. Warming up.
Greet the Ss and review the last lesson. Ask some questions about the famous things of China like this:
T: What is China famous for
Ss: Great Wall, Beijing opera, Bird’s nest, and so on.
Step 2. Look and Say
Make the Ss say something about the following famous things and places in China.
Step 3. New words.
1.Give three minutes to Ss to pronounce the new words.
2. Pronounce the new words following the teacher and remember the new words in three minutes.
Step 4. Listening time.
1. Make the Ss listen to the tape closing their books and get ready to answer the question: Did Danny find any birds in the Bird’s Nest
2. Check the answer.
Step 5. Reading time.
Let the Ss read the text aloud with the following questions:
1.When did Jenny love about the Beijing opera
2.Where did the group go yesterday afternoon
3.What event was held at the Bird's Nest in 2008
4. What new instrument did Jenny learn about
And then make the Ss answer the above questions in pairs.
Step 6. Language points:
Make the Ss look for the language points in the text in pairs in five minutes.
The teacher show the important language points and give some examples.
Step 7.Writing time:
Make the Ss write a short passage about his or her visiting to Beijing in ten minutes and show.
Step 8. Homework
Write a diary about a place of interests in China.
Step 9. Reflection:
Lesson6 aims to teach the students learn how to write something about the visiting to a place of interests. It’s a little difficult for the students to master the differences between “ a few” and “ a little”. So, the teachers need to practice this language points as much as possible.
