一、整体设计思路
通过阅读,理解文章的内容,学习罗琳的精神。在这个过程中,我运用了KWL的阅读策略。先启发学生的已有知识what they know,去尝试获取新的信息what they want to know,最后总结what they have learnt。从头到尾,让学生成为一个主动的学习者。我还运用了任务驱动的方式进行教学,运用到的策略有:通过找各段的大意,归纳怎样寻找主题句;根据上下文猜测词义;推断作者的写作意图和揣摩主人翁的态度;推测文章末段的内容等。我还将读写结合,让学生结合所学内容,写出哈利波特的影响,也鼓励学生自由发挥。

Lead-in
Step 1 T shows some pictures about the film Harry Potter to arouse Ss’ interest. 以电影中的图片引入,吸引学生的兴趣。
Pre-reading
Step 2 T asks Ss what they know about J.K. Rowling and what they want to know about her. 启发学生的背景知识,并尝试获取未知信息。让学生成为积极主动的学习者。
Fast-reading
Step 3 Ss go through the article and match each paragraph with its main idea. T and Ss summarize how to find a topic sentence. T introduces a new word naturally (detail). 培养学生快速阅读、了解大意的能力。 总结怎样寻找主题句,为课外广泛、高效阅读打好基础。 引出新单词,为下文理解文章做铺垫。
Careful-reading
Step 4 Ss figure out Rowling’s experiences by underlining what she did in different places. Ss try to understand some words by using the context. 培养快速获取细节信息、归纳并处理信息的能力。培养学生通过上下文猜测词汇,理解句意的能力。
Step 5 Ss read Para.2&3 to get some key information such as the author’s intention and Rowling’s attitude. 培养学生推断作者写作意图和归纳主人翁态度的能力。
Step 6 T compares Rowling to a cocoon. Ss read Para.4 aloud and answer the following question without looking at their paper: “Why are the books so successful ” 老师将罗琳比作茧,进行情感教育,并为文章最后的升华做铺垫。 让学生养成背诵积累优美词句的习惯。
Post-reading
Step 7 Ss recall what they have learnt and predict what to be talked about in the last paragraph. Ss write down some key sentences about the Harry Potter effect. Ss enjoy a video about the Harry Potter effect. 回顾所学内容,理清文章脉络,根据已有信息预测末段大意。结合所学内容,写出哈利波特的影响,也鼓励学生自由发挥。
Conclusion
Step 8 Ss talk about what they have learnt from Rowling. 回顾罗琳破茧成蝶的过程,谈谈自己的感悟。
