Never give out identifying information such as Name, Home, Address, School Name,or Telephone Number in a public message such as at a chat room or on bulletin boards. Never send a person a picture of you without first checking with your parents.
Never reply to message or bulletin board items that are: Suggestive/Obscene(下流的)/Ready to fight/Express intention to hurt/Make you feel uncomfortable.
Be careful when someone offers something for nothing, such as gifts or money. Be very careful about any offers that get you to meet or have someone visit your house.
Tell your parents right away if you come across any information that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Never arrange a face?to?face meeting without telling your parents. If your parents agree to the meeting, make sure that you meet in a public place and have a parent with you. Since you can't hear the person,it would be easy for someone to misrepresent himself or herself. Thus someone who says that “She is a 12?year?old girl” could really be an old man.

According to the dictionary definition of “create”, ordinary people are creative every day. To create means “to bring into being,to cause to exist” — something each of us does daily.
We are creative whenever we look at or think about something in a new way. First this involves an awareness of our surroundings. It means using all of our sense to become aware of our world. This may be as simple as being aware of color and texture, as well as taste, when we plan a meal.
Above all, it is the ability to notice things that others might miss. A second part of creativity is an ability to see relationships among things. If we believe the expression, “There is nothing new under the sun. ” the creativity is remaking or recombining the old in new ways. For example, we might do this by finding a more effective way to study or a better way to arrange our furniture,or we might make a new combination of camera lenses and filters to create an unusual photograph. A third part of creativity is the courage and drive to make use of our new ideas, to apply them to achieve some new results. To think up a new concept is one thing; to put the idea to work is another.
These three parts of creativity are involved in all the great works of genius, but they are also involved in many of our day-to-day activities.
4.Which of the following activities is not a creative one according to the passage
A.To prepare a meal.
B.To arrange the furniture in a peculiar way.
C.To buy some books from a bookstore.
D.To “write” a letter with the computer.

A.creativity is of highly demand
B.creativity is connected with a deep insight to some extent
C.creativity is to create something new and concrete
D.to practice and practice is the only way to cultivate one's creativity
6.“There is nothing new under the sun. ”(Part 3)really implies that ______.
A.we can seldom create new things
B.a new thing is only a tale
C.a new thing can only be created at the basis of original things
D.we can scarcely see really new things in the world
7.The best title for this passage is ______.
A.How to Cultivate One's Creativity
B.What is Creativity
C.the Importance of Creativity
D.Creativity — a Not Faraway Thing
C
If you look for a book as a present for a child, you will be spoiled for choice even in a year where there is no new Harry Potter. J. K Rowling's wizard is not alone: the past decade has been a harvest for good children's books, which has set off a large quantity of films and in turn led to increased sales of classics such as The Lord of the Rings.
Yet despite that, reading is increasingly unpopular among children. According to statistics, in 1997, 23% said they didn't like reading at all. In 2003, 35% did. And around 6% of children leave primary school each year unable to read properly.
Maybe the decline is caused by the increasing availability of computer games. Maybe the books boom has affected only the top of the educational pile. Either way, Chancellor Gordon Brown plans to change things for the bottom of the class. In his pre?budget report, he announced the national project of Reading Recovery to help the children struggling most.
Reading Recovery is aimed at six?year?olds, who receive four months of individual daily half?hour classes with a specially trained teacher. An evaluation earlier this year reported that children on the scheme made 20 months' progress in just one year, whereas similarly weak readers without special help made just five months' progress, and so ended the year even further below the level expected for their age.
International research tends to find that when British children leave primary school they read well, but read less often for fun than those elsewhere. Reading for fun matters because children who are keen on reading can expect lifelong pleasure and loving books is an excellent indicator of future educational success. According to the OECD, being a regular and enthusiastic reader is of great advantage.
8. Which of the following is true of Paragraph 1
A. Many children's books have been adapted from films.
B. Many high?quality children's books have been published.
C. The sales of classics have led to the popularity of films.
D. The sales of presents for children have increased.
9. Statistics suggested that______.
A. the number of top students increased with the use of computers
B. a decreasing number of children showed interest in reading
C. a minority of primary school children read properly
D. a large percentage of children read regularly
10. What do we know about Reading Recovery
A. An evaluation of it will be made sometime this year.
B. Weak readers on the project were the most hardworking.
C. It aims to train special teachers to help children with reading.
D. Children on the project showed noticeable progress in reading.
11. The aim of this text would probably be______.
A. to overcome primary school pupils' reading difficulty
B. to encourage the publication of more children's books
C. to remind children of the importance of reading for fun
D. to introduce a way to improve early childhood reading
D
I am a good mother to three children. I have tried never to let my profession stand in the way of being a good parent.
I no longer consider myself the center of the universe. I show up. I listen. I try to laugh. I am a good friend to my husband. I have tried to make marriage vows(誓约) mean what they say. I am a good friend to my friends, and they to me. Without them, there would be nothing to say to you today.
So here's what I wanted to tell you today: Get a life. A real life, not a desire of the next promotion(提升), the bigger paycheck, the larger house.
Get a life in which you are not alone. Find people you love, and who love you. And remember that love is not leisure(休闲), it is work. Pick up the phone. Send an email. Write a letter. And realize that life is the best thing and that you have no business taking it for granted.
It is so easy to waste our lives, our days, our hours, and our minutes. It_is_so_easy_to_exist_instead_of_to_live. I learned to live many years ago. Something really, really bad happened to me, something that changed my life in ways that, if I had my choice, it would never have been changed at all. And what I learned from it is what, today, seems to be the hardest lesson of all.
I learned to love the journey, not the destination. I learned to look at all the good in the world and tried to give some of it back because I believed in it, completely and totally. And I tried to do that, in part, by telling others what I had learned.
By telling them this: Read in the backyard with the sun on your face. Learn to be happy. And think of life as a deadly illness, because if you do, you will live it with joy and passion(激情) as it ought to be lived.
12. The best title for this passage probably is______.
A.Love your friends
B.Live a real life
C.Don't waste time
D.Be a good mother and wife
13. How did the author form her view of life
A. Through social experience.
B. By learning from her friends.
C. Through an unfortunate experience.
D. From her children and husband.
14. By the underlined sentence “It is so easy to exist instead of to live. ” in the fifth paragraph, the author really means that people tend to______.
A. make a living rather than live a real life
B. work rather than enjoy life
C. waste a lot in life
D. forget the most important lessons in life
15. What's the author's attitude toward work
A. Do it well to serve others.

A篇1.
3.解析:作者并不反对交网友,但一定要“Get to know your ‘online friends’ just as you get to know all of your friends.”。
根据“These three parts of creativity are involved in all the great works of genius, but they are also involved in many of our day-to-day activities.”
由文章第一段第二句“the past decade has been a harvest for good children's books(过去十年是孩子们书籍的大丰收)”得出答案。
答案:B
Get a life.

What Will Life Be Like in the Future
I often dream about the life in the future. What will it be like Perhaps we will be able to live on the moon. And some will live under the sea. It will be very common to do shopping and see a doctor at home by Internet. There'll be many more kinds of TV programmes for us to choose from. More children will choose to study at home on the computer. Robots will do housework for you if we don't want to. We'll have healthier foods. Pollution will get controlled. Both water and the sky will become clearer. People will have more free time. They will be able to go to other stars on holiday. They will even live with people from other stars.
