Module 4的主要内容为运用情态动词来描述规则和给别人的建议。从全书来看，本模块继续复习情态动词的用法，内容有层次的展开，学生容易接受。

2. 情态动词。

能听懂和阅读关于介绍山区旅行规则和建议的语言材料，能通过相关词汇和图片描述自己和他人的旅行规则和建议；能编写关于旅行规则的对话。

教学过程
)
Step1. Words
1.Teach the new words, phrases and patterns in the lesson with the Chinese explanation and exact pronunciation.
2.Show the Chinese meanings to let student answer English correspondents.
3.Show pictures related to the difficult words and phrases to facilitate students’ perception.
4.Encourage students to make up English sentences in the given sentence patterns.
5.Sum up the new words, phrases and sentence patterns.
You should always wear proper clothes.
You mustn’t go off on your own.
It should be a fairly smooth walk to begin with.
Step2. Talking
1. Let students talk to each other on the risks necessary to mind.
2. Look at the photo. Then students say what suggestions they can give to people who go walking in the mountains.
Step3. Learning
1. Listen to the listening material and answer the questions in the slide according to the content.
2. Listen to the passage and students reply to the following questions in their own words.
3. Look through the conversation and choose the correct answer.
4. Let students role-play the conversation.
5. Complete the passage with proper words without any hints.
6. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box.
Step4. Language points
1. set off最常用的意思有：出发，动身，启程。
2. 修饰不定代词something, nothing, anything, somebody, nobody等的形容词和动词不定式要放在代词后面。
3. come on在不同的语境中有不同的意思。
Come on — we’re going to be late if you don’t hurry.
快点儿——你不快点儿我们就要迟到了。
Oh, come on! I could do it in twenty minutes.
表示不相信，“得了吧”。
4. 常见的几个由keep构成的短语动词。

1. Teach students the liaison.
