探究三：Language Points
1.lead v．带领；指路 过去式为led，过去分词为led。常用短语有
(1) lead to... (道路)通向；导致 例: All roads lead to Rome. 条条大路通罗马。(谚语)
(2) lead...to...把……带到，领到 例：I’ll lead you to the waiting room. Please follow me.我将带你到等候室。请跟我来。单词拓展：lead → leader 领导者
2.chance意为“机会、机遇”例：There will be a chance for us to look around the school.我们将有机会参观这个学校。
(1)表示“有机会做某事”时，chance后可接“to do sth.”或“of doing sth.”。
例：I will have the chance of visiting Beijing tomorrow.明天我将有机会参观北京。
chance的相关搭配
It’s a good chance to do sth. 这是一个做某事的好机会； 2) give sb. a chance to do sth. 给某人一个做某事的机会；3) take the chance抓住机会；4) by any chance或许，可能；
5) by chance偶然，意外。
3.辨析be made of和be made from
(1) be made of 指从所制成的物品中能看出原材料，即原材料只发生了物理变化。
Our desks are made of wood.我们的课桌是由木头制成的。
be made from 指从所制成的物品中看不出原材料，或者说是原材料发生了化学变化。Some paper is made from wood.一些纸是由木材制成的。
