（1）表示具体的“几百”时，用“基数词+hundred”，且hundred为单数形式，如：five hundred 五百。
（2）表示不确定的数字时，常用hundreds of，表示 “数以百计的；成百上千的”。
hundred 作数词，意为“一百”。具体用法为：
我弟弟有两百多本故事书。

拓展：与hundred有类似用法的词还有thousand (千)，million (百万)，billion (十亿)。
4. I ride it to school every day.

（1）ride在此处作及物动词，意为
“骑”，后面可接bike, horse, motorbike等。
他骑自行车去学校。

=He goes to school by bike.
（2）ride作名词时，指乘车的旅行、旅程，也指骑车旅行、骑马旅行等。
大约5分钟的骑程。

回答 how far 引导的问句有以下几种形式：
(1) It’s +路程+from A to B.
(2) A is+路程+from B.
(3) It is+时间名词的所有格+walk/ride/drive.
(4) It’s+时间+by+交通工具.
6. I’m not sure … about 10 kilometers
我不太确定……大约10千米？
这是一句表现自己对判断没有十足把握时的固定套语，可以模仿使用。
形容词 sure: “肯定的；确定的”，其疑问形式和肯定形式在口语中也十分常用。
(1)be sure to do sth. 意为“一定要，务必（做某事）”。
sure 相关句型：
例: 务必代我向你的家人问好。
Be sure to give your family my regards.
(2)be sure of 意为“有把握……；确信……”。
例: 我确信能赢得这场比赛。
I’m sure of winning the game.
(3)make/be sure + that 从句，意为“确信……”，
当从句主语与主句主语一致时，可与“be sure to
do sth. ”替换。
例：我肯定帮你。
I’m sure I’ll help you.
I’m sure to help you.
