形容词sure: “肯定的；确定的”，其疑问形式和肯定形式在口语中也十分常用。表示自己对某事很肯定时用I'm sure…,表示自己对某事没有十足的把握时,则用I'm not sure.。

表示“乘、坐”某一交通工具。常用结构：take a/the+交通工具
表示“花费时间”之意。常用结构： It takes sb. some time to do sth. ”，意为“某人花多少时间做某事”，注意后面动词前的 to 不可丢掉。
例如： 晚上我要花半小时做作业。______________________________
她每天步行去上学要花二十分钟的时间。 ______________________________

用于询问物体的长短，意为“多长”。回答时常用表示长度的词或短语。

how far引导的特殊疑问句
how far意为“多远”，用来询问两地之间的距离。其答语常有以下三种方式：

—It's about five kilometers. 大约五千米。
—How far is it from our school to the post office 从我们学校到邮局有多远？
—It's about half an hour's drive. /It's about half an hour by car.
开车大约半小时的路程。
