时间状语从句
时间状语从句表示主句动作发生的时间。从句中不能用将来时，若主句是将来时，从句要用一般现在时或完成时。

原因状语从句
原因状语从句可置于句首,也可置于句尾。引导原因状语从句的常用词有：
because:
since/now (that):
as:
for:
语气最强,常用来回答why引起的提问。它可与强调词only、just及否定词not连用。
语气最弱,较口语化，所表达的原因比较明显，或是已知的事实。as引导的状语从句多置于主句之前。
语气也较弱, 常表示对方已知的事实,意为“既然”。
表示原因不能放在句首，“我之所以这么说是因为”

条件状语从句
条件状语从句可置于句首,也可置于句尾，有时还可置于主语和谓语之间。引导条件状语从句的常用词有：

provided (that)= providing (that) given that assuming (that)

方式(伴随)状语从句
引导方式状语从句的常用词有：as, (in) the way, as if , as though等。

这位老太太对待这个男孩就像他是她自己的儿子似的。

引导让步状语从句的常用词有：

3. The less she worried，the better she worked.
