1. 设置情景导入新课
(1) 教师展示中国地图，及学生们喜爱的孙悟空形象，T：Do you like having a trip Today, let’s have a trip around China with the Monkey King.
(2) What should we do for the trip
引出旅游前需要准备的物品：饮食，衣物等。需要哪些衣物需要根据天气情况来决定，所以要先看天气预报。
2. 图片情景教学单词
(1) weather report
a.先听一遍录音，了解什么是weather report.
b.利用学过的单词father, mother, brother来学习单词weather的发音。注意“ea”和“th”的发音。
(2) 通过和the Monkey King的旅行，学习warm。
a. 来到Beijing.先简单介绍北京。通过温度计让学生观察温度，了解warm的概念。强调ar的发音。操练。
b. What’s the weather like in Beijing 引导学生回答： Its warm in Beijing. 师生问答练习。
c. 引导学生为Beijing 进行天气预报。Good morning. This is the weather report. It’s warm in Beijing. 请学生展示。
(3) 同样学习hot及It’s hot in Hong Kong.
(4) 同样学习cool及It’s cool in Lhasa.
(5) 同样学习cold及It’s cold in Harbin.
a. 对比学习cool和cold的发音。强调oo和o及ol发音的不同，帮助学生区分并能准确读出cool和cold。联系相关单词：book, look, cool以及told, gold。
b. 充分的语句操练。
