1. eat quickly
quickly 副词,意为“很快地”,一般指思维、动作反应快且用时少。其形容词是quick,意为“快的”。

④ some time 名词短语,“一段时间”。
I’ll stay here for some time. 我将在这儿待一段时间。
口诀:分开是一段(some time),相连是某时(sometime);
分开-s是次数(some times),相连-s是有时(sometimes)。
3. In the evening, I either watch TV or play computer games.
either ... or ... 为固定搭配,意为“要么...要么...;或者...或者...”,用来连接两个独立的单词、短语,甚至独立的句子。
He is either in the classroom or in the library.
他要么在教室要么在图书馆。
注意:either ... or ... 连接并列主语时,谓语动词应与最近的一个主语在人称和数上保持一致,这就是我们常说的“就近原则”。
Either you or I am going there. 要么你去那儿,要么我去。
4. At twelve, she eats lots of fruit and vegetables for lunch.
lots of 意为“大量;许多”,既可以修饰可数名词复数,又可以修饰不可数名词,用于肯定句中,与a lot of 是同义短语。

There is lots of /a lot of milk in the cup. 杯子里有许多牛奶。
【辨析】lots of, much与many
lots of “许多;大量”,修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词,用于肯定句中。
much “许多;大量”,修饰不可数名词。
many “许多;大量”,修饰可数名词复数。
I drank lots of water after running. 跑完步后我喝了大量的水。

5. She knows it’s not good for her, but it tastes good!
(1) be good for 意为“对...有益;对...有好处”;其反义短语为:
be bad for 意为“对...有害;对...有坏处”。
Eating more vegetables is good for you. 多吃蔬菜对你有好处。
It’s bad for your eyes to read in the sun.
在阳光下看书对你的眼睛有害。
