内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit1第五课时。主要学习五个新词汇“she,he,student,pupil,teacher”。老师将通过多种实际情景活动,使学生掌握本节课知识点,并运用到实际生活当中,激发学生对英语的兴趣,为日后的英语学习打下基础。

能够理解student和pupil的含义相同,能够区分he和she,且灵活运用。
能够在真实或者模拟的情景中运用句型:

能够熟练说唱Let’s chant部分,并通过游戏或者音频等巩固句型和短语。
过程与方法
通过图片教学,并结合“大小声”、“唱反调”和“西门说”等的方式教授新单词、短语,极大地激发学生的学习兴趣,活跃课堂氛围,寓教于乐。自然地引出“He/She is...”这一表达,词不离句,帮助学生在语境中理解其含义。

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in

Teacher can put some words on the PPT one by one and students should speak out quickly the meaning of the corresponding word given. (课件出示:用快闪的方式,把已学过的单词呈现出来,并要求学生快速读出单词并说出其汉意。)
Find and think
T:Hello,boys and girls. Today we’ll continue to learn Unit1. Last time we learned something about the pronunciation / / of letter “a”in words. So you should look at the above words carefully again and say the corresponding words.
Sing a chant(出示课件:书本第8页,let’s chant 的歌词及录音。采用先学后教的方法,让学生对其产生兴趣,在进行引导,进而学习理解大意。并能复习和掌握所涉及的句型。)
Lyrics:
He and she. He and she.
Boy and girl. You and me!

Teacher and students,
One,two,three!
(1)Play the part of chant and let students learn to sing and actively follow the rhythm of music. This way can make students be interested in the chant. Then the teacher help them to understand its meaning.
(2)Ask students underline the words“he”or“she”,then check the answers with teacher.
T:So,who belongs to the team“she”?
Ss:Sarah,Chen jie,Miss White and Amy.
T:And what about the team“he”?
Ss:Wu Binbin,Mike,John and Zhang Peng.
T:Great!You all do a good job.
(3)Play the chant again,and teach students to repeat after it. Pay attention to the pronunciation of each word. Then work in groups to practice singing it by clapping their hands and act it out in class.
Step 2: Presentation
Show a girl’s picture on PPT.
(课件出示:一张女孩的照片,引出单词she。领读并教学)
T:Look!A girl!This is a girl. She is a girl.
Teach the word “she” by the game “High and low voice”.
T: She is a girl. / /-/ i:/, / i:/.
Point to the picture of the girl and say,“She is a girl.” Lead students to clap hands and chant: she,↗ she,?↘she,?↗she.?
Write down the word “she” on the blackboard.
Show a boy’s picture on PPT.
(课件出示:一张男孩的照片,引出单词he。领读并教学)
T:Look!A boy!This is a boy. He is a boy. /b/,/ /,/b /.
Teach the word “he” by the game “Opposite tune”. Then lead students to clap hands and chant: boy,↗? boy,?↘ A boy,?↗ A boy ↘
Write down “boy” on the blackboard.
T:This girl is a student. She is also a pupil. You are all students. You are also a pupil.(课件出示:再次呈现女孩照片,并对其进行介绍,引出单词student。同时结合she引出单词pupil。领读,教学。)
Teach the two words by the game “Jump and say”.
(活动说明:教师将书放在学生头顶上方,让学生跳跃并用头碰书,同时大声朗读单词。)
Lead students to clap hands and chant:

Write down the two words “student”“pupil” on the blackboard.
(4)T:Look!She is a teacher. I’m a teacher,too.
(课件出示:一张女教师图片,并对其进行介绍,引出单词teacher。领读,教学。)
Teach the word by Simon says. Lead students to clap hands and chant:

Write down the word “teacher” on the blackboard.
(5)T:now please read above new words together.
(课件出示:五个新学的单词,让学生一起大声朗读,起到强化记忆单词的目的。)
(6)Play the flash of Let’s learn and students repeat it. Imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
Step 3: Practice
Play games
(1)Through playing the Train Coming to do new words spelling exercise.
Here are the words:she,he,student,pupil,teacher.
(课件出示:把以上所给的单词中部分字母隐藏,让学生去填空,以补全单词。让学在轻松的游戏中,巩固新学单词的拼写,进一步掌握单词。)
look and find——Which apple is missing?
The apples drop from the tree one by one. Students say the word as quickly as possible.
(课件出示:把新学的五个单词全部用苹果呈现出来,并消失某个单词,让学生们发现并快速说出。)
2. listen,number and match
Rules:according to the recording,number the Chinese meaning. Then show the five words and have a match between the words and their meanings.
3. Show the picture of Let’s learn and look at the picture and complete the sentence.

This is Mr. Jones. is a .
(出示课件:先播放单词的音频,然后进行数字标序,然后呈现所有单词,进行连线。让学生通过练习,巩固音形意。)
Read and act——let’s learn
let students read after the recording and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.
Students practice the dialogue in groups.
Act out.
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
Listen,read and learn
Then ask students watch the picture of Let’s learn carefully. Or teacher can take out the pictures of Amy and Mr. Jones. Teacher ask a question and students should answer by using the sentence pattern of introduction. (课件出示:Amy和Mr. Jones的照片。并利用句型,开展对话。)
Look and say
Teacher can show more picture of character which we have learned. Students can answer quickly and choose one student to be a winner. (课件出示:更多我们学过的人物图片,并让学生利用本课时句型,开展对话)
Pairs work
Let students make their own dialogues to introduce their partners. Ask students to practice the dialogues in pairs,then introduce their partner to the class.
