内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit1第六课时。主要学习句型“This is...”“He/She is a...”等以及听、说、认读本单元所学词汇“boy,girl,he,she,teacher,student”等。老师将通过多种游戏和活动,使学生掌握本节课知识点,激发学生对英语的兴趣,为日后的英语学习打下基础。

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
Let’s sing——boy and girl(课件出示:包括歌名,与歌词相关的图片。播放歌曲。教材第10页。)
Lyrics:
I am a boy and you are a girl. I am a boy and you are a girl.
I am a boy and you are a girl. Do you want to be my friend?
Revision.
Play a game —Passing ball to review the sentences“I’m a student. I’m from ...”
Rules:Teacher play music. When it is stopped,the student who holds the ball should introduce himself/herself to the class by using above the sentence pattern.
Step 2: Presentation
Start to read
Choose four students to the front and ask them to read the sentences in page 9. If the students can’t read or pronounce incorrectly,the teacher should help them to correct the problems after they finish reading. (课件出示:再次呈现第9页,Read and tick的图片及对话。)
Work in pairs.
(1)Students can cooperate with their deskmates to make a dialogue. The contents should include name,gender and identity.
For example:
S1:Hello!I’m Tom. I’m a boy.
S1:Hello!I’m Lucy. I’m a girl.
Then the teacher can make a introduction in front of the class.
Eg:
T:Hello,boys and girls. I’m Miss Li. I’m a teacher. You are students.
(课件出示:逐一展示Mike,Miss White,John,Zhang Peng的人物头饰,让学生根据所学及以上例句,在小组内讨论这些人物,并展开对话。)
(2)Choose two pairs to the front and show their dialogue to help other students understand completely. They can talk about their classmates or teachers.
(3)students read the introduction of the four characters and determine whether the sentence is true or false.
(4)At last,check the answers with teacher. And correct the wrong sentence.
2. Let’s check
(1)Listen and number
① Students should watch the pictures carefully and have a guess about the listening contents.(课件出示:四张照片。书本第十页let’s check。引导学生仔细观察Let’s check中的四幅图片,思考并尝试回答课件上的问题,为接下来的听力活动做好准备。)
T: Now please look at the four pictures in the first part of Let’s check. How many people are there in each picture Who are they What are they doing
② Play the recording. Students can check their guess whether it’s right as they are listening.
③ Listen the recording again and number the four pictures which were given from one to four .
④ Listen and repeat. Besides,remind the students of paying attention to the pronunciation and the intonation in the recording.
Look and match
T: Look at the second part of “Let’s check”. What can you see in the picture A teacher Any students Now you can match the picture with the words on both sides of the picture.
① Let students watch the pictures carefully which was given. Then have a discussion about the contents of it in groups. At last,show their ideas.

For example:

② Choose one student to read the words and complain them in Chinese.
③ Match the picture with the corresponding words.
Step 3: Practice

Play a train game
(课件出示:说明活动要求,让学生五人一组,进行“开火车”的句型操练游戏。教师计时,传得最快最准确的一组获胜。)
T: Now let’s play the train game. Five of you are in a group. The first student introduces the second one to the class “Hi, this is John. He is a boy. He is my friend.”, and then the second introduces the third one, and so on. The quicker, the better.
设计意图:结合轻松的游戏,综合输出语言。
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
Let's sing!
(1)Play the song for the second time. (课件出示:包括歌名,与歌词相关的图片。播放歌曲。第一次播放是在热身部分。)

(2)Play the song again. Lead students to clap hands and sing with the recording. Let them practice in groups. Invite some students to wear the headdresses, and the others sing the song and greet them.

1. 在进行听力活动和练习之前,预留时间让学生观察和思考,突出学生学习的主体地位,充分发挥教师的引导作用,尽可能地给学生足够的时间和空间,培养他们的自主学习能力。
