内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit1第三课时。该课时采用自然拼读来进行教学。以元音字母a在闭音节的发音为本节课的主线,先用一段chant来引出本节课主题。教师通过歌谣、拆音、拼音等活动,来培养学生的语音意识,引导学生通过观察,自学和互助等手段培养学生的思维能力,并达到自主学习的目的,让学生在尝试学习中体验学习的乐趣。

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
1. let’s sing a song—ABC song .
(出示课件:三年级上册第6页let’s sing,包括歌名,与歌词相关的图片。播放歌曲。通过歌曲导入,让学生在愉快的气氛中开始本节课的学习。)
Lyrics:
Aa-Bb-Cc-Dd-Ee-Ff-Gg-Hh-Ii-Jj-Kk-Ll-Mm-Nn-Oo-Pp-Qq-Rr-Ss-Tt-Uu-Vv-Ww-Xx-Yy-Zz. Xx-Yy-Zz,now you see,I can say my ABCs.
Revision.
Through singing the ABC Song,we can review the pronunciation of 26 letters which we have learned.
(2)Play a game:sharp eyes(火眼金睛)!(出示课件:随机排列26字母的位置。复习上学期已学的字母。)
Rule:according to the letters which are put out of order in the picture and read at once.
Lead-in
Show some pictures to let students guess what are they.
(课件出示:展示一些动物的照片,以询问的方式来让大家回答。)
Step 2: Presentation
play a chant in Let's spell. (出示课件:播放音频并呈现书本上的相应图片。学生需要一边听一边跟读。)
How to pronounce “a” in a word?Let’s watch!

Read the above words loudly three times!(通过大声朗读,让学生思考,单词中的a发什么音呢?老师可把所给单词进行拆分合并单词的音,让学生体会单词音的由来。)
T:Can you spell it
Ss: C-A-T,cat. (出示课件:展示小猫图片,并介绍:This is a cat.)
Then mark the letter“a”with different color,and stress the pronunciation of “a”again and again.
Teach the word “cat” by the game “High and low voice”.
T: It is a cat. /k/-/ /-/t/, /k t/. A cat!
Point to the picture of the girl and say,“A cat!” Lead students to clap hands and chant: cat,↗ cat,?↘a cat,?↗a cat.?/ /-/ /-/ /
Write down the word “cat” on the blackboard.
The teacher can put on her/his own bag. Ask a question and answer it on his/her own.
Eg:“What’s this?Oh,it’s my bag.”
Write the word“bag”on the blackboard and mark the letter“a”with different color.(课件出示:把bag这个单词呈现出来,并标红字母a。)
T:Look!A bag!This is my bag. /b/,/ /,/g/.
Teach the word “bag” by the game “Opposite tune”. Then lead students to clap hands and chant: bag,↗? bag,?↘ A bag,?↗ A bag,↘
Write down “bag” on the blackboard.
Teacher teach students to read the word “dad”three times and stress the pronunciation of “a”.
(出示课件:展示一张父亲的图片。并介绍 This a dad with a child. )
Lead students to clap hands and chant:
dad,?↗ dad,?↘A dad, ↗ A dad. ?↘
Write down the two words “dad” on the blackboard.
The teacher can raise his/her hand,and show “h nd”to students.Ask them to write the missing letter.(学生可根据刚刚所学字母a的发音,尝试拼读单词。)
(课件出示:一张老师举手的照片,并圈出手部位。)
If someone can answer correctly,she/he will get a reward.

Step 3: Practice
Have a conversation or make a dialogue
(老师将带有字母“a”的卡片贴在教室的不同位置,并与学生展开对话。)
Eg:
T:what is this?
Ss:It is an “a”.
Practice in pairs
Students can work with their partner and freely spelling and reading words by alphabet. pupils learn individual letter sounds and then learn how letters work in
groups. And have a discussion with each other how to pronounce the letter “a”in a word.
(出示课件:展示一张字母表。拼读法为孩子们提供了一套规则:学生们学习单个字母的发音,然后学习这些字母组合在一起时如何发音。)
Then teacher can show other similar words to let students learn and read.
(课件出示:put some words on PPT,such as rat、mad、happy、Canada,panda,apple,and,at.)
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
1.Teacher play the recording——Read,listen and circle.
Let students finish the exercise by themselves on the book. Then choose some students to speak out their answers and check them if they are right. Finally,ask students to read aloud and correct wrong pronunciation.(出示课件:书本第6页,let’s spell 第二部分,Read,listen and circle。包括其内容。)

2. Teacher play the recording——Listen and write.
Ask students to finish the spelling by listening to the recording on their own. Then check the answers which students finished just now. At last,let students spell the words freely.(出示课件:书本第6页,let’s spell 第三部分,Listen and write.使用四线三格展示cat,bag,hand 和dad这四个单词。)
