1. hundred的用法
hundred作数词时,意为“一百”,常与基数词搭配表示确切的数量,注意此时hundred后不加-s；
hundreds of意为“许多；大量”,表示不明确的数目、大概的数量,此时hundred后要加-s,且后接介词of。
e.g. : There are eight hundred workers in the factory.

3. Lisa: How long does it take you to get to school
It takes + 人 (人称代词宾格） + 时间 + to do …做某事花费某人多长时间。动词 take 表示“花费(时间)”。
It takes my mother fifty minutes to cook.
It takes him an hour to finish the lesson.
e.g. : It usually takes me five to ten minutes
to get there by bus.
4. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.
1) ride为名词，表示（骑马、汽车或乘坐车辆的）旅行，行程
e.g. :The train ride is about half an hour.
2) ride 也可用作动词，如ride a bike, ride a horse(骑马）
