内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit 2第二课时。该课时主要学习了两个学生所熟知的家庭人物,并通过创设情景和小组对话的形式,从而引出单词“man, woman, father/dad, mother/mum”,以及句型“—Who’s… —She’s /He’s…”, 利用新颖有趣的教学手段,能帮助学生快速学会并牢固记忆

(1)能够听 说 认读表示家庭成员的单词“father/dad, mother/mum, man, woman”。
(2)能够熟练运用句型“—Who’s… —She’s /He’s…”。
(3)能够学唱本课Let’s chant板块的歌谣,并通过歌谣巩固所学单词。
过程与方法
首先,通过播放歌谣, 以此来活跃课堂气氛,进而导入本课时的学习内容
其次,通过利用观察 提问和观看视频的方式,来开展本课时的学习 让学生
进一步掌握并巩固本课新学的单词和句型 并组织学生做游戏,帮助学生对所学单词进行操练,从而达到巩固复习的目的。
最后,通过两人造句,把所学运用到实践中,让学生对父母的情感得到升华。

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
1.Greetings.
T: Boys and girls, nice to meet you!
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: Hi, what’s your name

2.Let’s chant. (课件出示:教材P15 Let’s chant的视频。)
The teacher plays the video and let students enjoy it first. Then learn to sing while playing.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Learning new words.
(1)The teacher shows a photo of family to students and ask them.
T: Have a look, please. This is my family photo. Do you remember who they are?
Ss:That man is your father. That woman is your mother. And this one is you.
T:Yes,he’s my father. She’s my mother. And this is me.
(2)The teacher shows the pictures of Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig. (课件出示: 小猪佩奇的爸爸妈妈图片。)
T: Who is he
Ss: He is Daddy Pig.
T: Yes, he is Daddy Pig. He is a man. (课件出示:需要把这句话中“man”标红加粗。并进行讲解。)
T: Who is she
Ss: She is Mummy Pig.
T: Yes, she is Mummy Pig. She is a woman.(课件出示:需要把这句话中“woman”标红加粗。并进行讲解。)
①Students watch and fill in the blanks in oral. (课件出示: 以补全对话的形式,让学生进行对话练习。)
②The teacher teaches the words “man, woman” by using the word cards.
(3)The teacher shows the picture of Peppa Pig to students. (课件出示:小猪佩奇的图片。)
T: Peppa Pig and XXX are talking. What are they talking about Let’s have a look. (出示课件)
The teacher asks students to look at the pictures carefully and show the following sentences on the PPT.
XXX : Who’s that man
Peppa Pig : He’s my father/dad.
①The teacher teaches the words “father/dad”.
Then ask students to repeat after teacher reads it.
XXX: Who’s that woman
Peppa Pig : She’s my mother/mum.
②The teacher teaches the words “mother/mum”.
Ask students to practice the words in high and low voice with teacher.
(Teacher can speak the word loudly first,then the students repeat in low voice. Then have a exchange.)
2. Let’s learn.
(1) Look carefully the picture of “Let’s learn”. (课件出示:教材P15 Let’s learn的图片。)
T: Look at the picture. Where are they
Ss: In the park.
T: Who is that boy
Ss: He is Zhang Peng.
T: Great! And who is that girl
Ss: She’s Sarah.
T: OK. Now let’s watch the video for the first time and discuss what they’re talking about.
Play the video of “Let’s learn”for the first time.
T: While watching the video,you should find the answers to the following questions. After watching the video, please tell me your answers. OK
Q1: Who is that man
Q2: Who is that woman

(3)Deal with the above questions.
T: Who is that man
Ss: He is Sarah’s father.
T: Who is that woman
Ss: She is Sarah’s mother.
Watch the video again. Read the words and the dialogue after the video, then read them in groups.
Step 3: Practice⑤
1. Practice the words.
T: Let’s play a game—Bomb game ! Now, please look at the rules of this game on the PPT.
Rules:
The teacher puts the six word cards on the PPT.(father,man,mother,mum,dad,woman)
Then use different color cards to cover these word cards.
Ask students to choose the color random and click the color card to show the word or “bomb”card which the students have chosen just now.
If they see a word card,should speak out it in English quickly.
If not,the students should say “bomb”together.
The faster one and answer correctly can get a reward.
T: Look at the picture carefully. Are you ready

2. Match the words with the pictures.
The teacher puts the six words on the PPT,then show out the pictures of corresponding words of Chinese meanings on the PPT,too. These students should match them with the words and read the words quickly. The faster group will get a point.
3. Let’s chant.
(1)Students look at the picture of “Let’s chant” carefully and describe it on their own. (课件出示:教材P15 Let’s chant的图片。)
T: Who is the man
Ss: He is the father.
T: Yes, the man is the father. Tall,tall,tall.
T: Who is the woman
Ss: She is the mother.
T: Yes, the woman is the mother. She is not so tall.
T: Who is the boy
Ss: He is the son.
T: Great! That’s the son. Small small small.
They are a family.
Look and understand
The teacher shows the lyrics of “Let’s chant” and leads students to understand the meaning of the each sentence.
(3)Watch the video again and try to repeat the chant. (课件出示:教材P15 Let’s chant的视频。)
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
Look and say.
1. Students look at the picture of a family and make dialogues in pairs. (出示课件)
S1: Who’s that man/woman …
S2: She/He is my…
…
Finally,the students can choose the best pair. Then The teacher praises them.

本节课主要教学单词“father/dad, mother/mum, man, woman”和句型“—Who’s… —She’s/He’s…”。在教学过程中,教师注重新旧知识的衔接,以及学生学习兴趣的培养 通过学生们熟悉的动画角色来引出新的单词和句型,并通过游戏和歌谣来复习 巩固单词和句型,最后通过观看《Family》的视频来使学生对父母的感情得到升华。整个课堂学习气氛浓厚,学生状态好,教学效果也很好。
