内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit 2第七课时。本课时主要讲Zip
到Zoom家做客的故事,重现了本单元部分重点词汇和核心句型,并加入了两个生词“actress”和“beautiful”,目的是通过一个有趣味又有意义的故事,增加语言的输入,并且使学生逐步适应文本阅读。
课时目标
知识与能力
(1)学生能够听说认读本课时的新单词“actress”和“beautiful”。
(2)学生能够听懂、会说句型“Who’s that...?She/He is...”
(3)学生能够用教师所给出的单词和句型,来介绍自己的家人。
过程与方法
本课时主要采用情景教学法和直观法两个教学手段,首先,通过学习小故事,来复习和巩固前面学习过的内容。强调以学生为主体,从学生的学习兴趣和生活经验入手,使学生通过感知、体验、实践和参与的方式实现学习任务目标。
其次,播放视频,让学生认真观看且尝试跟读音频材料。
最后,利用故事表演的形式,让学生进行角色扮演,既能使得课堂活跃起来,也能让学生动起来,以达到理解和会读Story time的目的。
情感态度价值观
学生在情景中,既能增长课外知识,也能加深对家庭成员的情感。

Warm-up & Revision
(1)Play a song —— I love my family. (课件出示:书本20页Let’s sing的歌曲音频。包括歌词。)
(2)Read aloud the lyrics together with the teacher.
(3)Free talk —— Make a dialogue
T:Class,work in pairs to practice the following sentence patterns.
Model:—Who’s this boy?—He is ...
—Who’s this girl?—She is ...
—This is ... —Nice to meet you.
Introduce : Zoom and Zip
T:Who are they?
Ss:He’s Zoom. She’s Zip.
Presentation & Practice
(1)Look and say
T:Boys and girls,look at me now. Let’s say together.
T:I’m a teacher,and you are ?
Ss:Students
T:Who is she?Do you know?
(课件出示:一张女演员的照片。)
Ss:She is a woman.
T:Great!And she is also a beautiful actress.(At the same time,the teacher should write down the word“actress”“beautiful”and explain them to students.)
(课件出示:“女演员”的单词卡片,并配上音标,教学生认和读。)
Besides,the teacher can expand and show another word card“actor”on the PPT.

(2)Read and imitate
T:Now please read after me.

T:Actress,actress,actress. She is an actress.

T:Actor,actor,actor. He is an actor.
Ss:...
T:Read aloud by yourselves three times. Then try to make a sentence with the three words in groups.
(3)Story time.
1. Students read the story by themselves first.
2. The teacher shows some questions on the PPT.
Q1:What does Zoom’s mother do?
A:She is an actress. B:She is a teacher.
Q2:What is Zoom doing?
A:He is wearing his mother’s dress. B:He’s playing with Zip.
Q3:Is Zoom beautiful?
A:Yes,he is. B:No,he is not.
Students watch the video and find out the answers.

Then check the answers with teacher together.

Students try to describe Zoom’s mother :

Present: Picture 3 (课件出示:Story time的第3张图片。)
Show the word“actress”and the sentences“My mum is an actress.”
T:Zoom’s mother often appears on the TV.
Look!She’s an actress.
Zoom : My mum is an actress.
Zip:Really
Present: picture 4,5,6(课件出示:Story time的第4-6张图片。)
a. T : Zoom wants to be beautiful, too. Look!
b. Act it out.
T: I want to be beautiful, too.
Zoom:Wait a minute! Look at me!
Zip:How beautiful! (简单介绍感叹句)
Listen and repeat the story.
T:Let’s listen to the recording again and try to repeat it by yourselves.
(课件出示:Story time的音频,并给出相应的对话。)
7. The teacher asks Students to read the story five times.
8. Students recite the story and act it out with partners.
3.Consolidation& Extension
(1)The teacher asks Students to guess something about Zoom’s father.
Ss may try to say: He’s cool. He’s a teacher.
(2)Make a new story about Zoom’s father, then choose one group to read the new story in front of the class.
