教学背景分析:
1.教学内容分析:
本节课是五年级下册第一单元第三课。本课将进一步通过文本的学习巩固加强对现在进行时的应用,容量适中,难度适宜,易于学生学习。
2.学习者分析:
在此之前学生已经学过现在进行时,并且能够运用现在进行时进行简单交流,再加上学生还掌握了一些表示动作的词汇和短语,这些知识都为学习本课奠定了基础。
教学目标分析:
1.知识和技能目标:
a. 学生能听懂,会说,认读和书写下列词汇:man,woman,baby,cry,talk,sleep
b. 学生能够熟练运用现在进行时Who is singing The man/woman/baby is …ing.对人物正在发生的动作进行问答。
2.情感态度目标:
培养学生与他人友好相处的良好品质,热爱他人,热爱生活。
3.学习策略目标:
通过创设情境,帮助学生更好地理解词汇和文本,引导学生在情境中使用语言,逐渐培养学生语言的综合应用能力。
教学重难点分析:
学生能够熟练运用现在进行时Who is singing The man/woman/baby is …ing.对人物正在发生的动作进行问答。

教学过程:
1. Warming-up
1. Greetings.
T: Class begins. Monitor: Stand up!
T:Good morning, boys and girls!
S:Good morning, Miss Wu!
2.First of all, let’s play a game.
Here I have some words, I will invite one student to read and do the actions,others guess and say:What is he/she doing
T: What is he/she doing S:He is running/jumping/singing.
(设计意图:通过学生对人物动作的描述,复习了上节课所学的现在进行时,为后面的进行时学习做准备)
二. Presentation and practice.
1.Learn the words: man, woman, baby.
Show a picture of the train.What is this It’s a train. Let’s guess who is on the train (预设)S1: Maybe Danny is on the train.S2:Maybe Jenny is on the train.
Listen and answer: Who is on the train (learn the new words )
(预设)S1: Jenny is on the train. S2: Danny is on the train. S3: A man is on the train. S4: A woman is on the train. S5: A baby is on the train.
(设计意图:学生带着问题听录音,在听录音过程中关注文中出现的主要人物,为后面单词讲解做准备)
Write the words on the Bb and say:This is a man. Do you know what is a man My father is a man.My grandfather is a man. Is your uncle a man Yes. (point to a boy)Is he a man No, he is a boy.
Point to the woman. Is this a man No, this is a woman. Write the woman on the Bb, read it twice. Do you know who is a woman I am a woman. My mother is a woman. My grandmother is a woman. My aunt is a woman.
Look at the picture and ask:Who’s in the woman’s arm It’s a baby.Boys and girls , are you babies No, you are kids.

2. Read and answer.
There are many people on the train. Someone is singing. Is Jenny singing Who is singing
Is Jenny singing No,she isn’t.
Who is singing The woman is singing. (同时板书)
Where is the woman (预设)She is on the train. She is behind Jenny.
(设计意图:学生通过带着问题读课文,增强了阅读的目的性,逐渐培养寻读的阅读方法)
3. Act like Jenny.
T: Boys and girls,if you are Jenny,how do you answer who is singing Who can be Jenny Yes , hello Jenny, who is singing
S: The woman behind me is singing.
4. Show the second picture.
What’s in the woman’s arm It’s a baby.
What is the baby doing The baby is crying.
Who is crying The baby is crying.
Why is the baby crying The baby is tired.
5.Show the fourth picture.
Is the baby crying now No.
What is the baby doing The baby is sleeping.
Who is sleeping The baby is sleeping.
6. Show the picture of Danny. Let’s guess: what is Danny doing (预设)He is jumping.He is talking.
Show the third picture.
What is Danny doing He is talking to the man behind LiMing.
Who is talking Danny is talking. Who is Danny talking to He is talking to the man.Where is the man The man is behind LiMing.

7.Listen and follow.
Read the text in pairs and role play the text.
