内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit4第一课时。本课时的主要内容
是描述物品的位置,可以在教学过程中,利用教室内的人及物品来进行游戏操练,让学生在熟悉的环境中,真实的场景下使用语言,从而真正达到听懂、会说的目标。在学习本课重点句式前,有必要复习有关文具的单词,以保证学生能够真实的交流。在Let’s talk部分,呈现了本课需要学生听懂、会说的句式:Let’s go home!Where is my pencil box?It’s in your desk. Silly me!其中on,in,under,desk都是本单元需要达到听懂、会说、认读的单词。

知识与能力
(1)能够在语境中运用句型“—Where is… —It’s in/on/under…”来询问并回答物品的位置。
(2)能够听 说 认读in, on和under 三个方位介词以及单词desk。
(3)能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意,并能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话。

过程与方法
首先,创设语言情境,让学生迅速自然地进入语言环境
其次,通过帮助Mike寻找小球的活动,引出与in, on, under相关的短语,从而引出本课时的重点句型 让学生带着问题观看视频,并通过对课文的一步步解析与学习,让学生深入了解对话,掌握重难点知识
最后,通过贴近生活的场景和图片,以及贴近三年级学生的游戏,让他们在娱乐中操练本课的重点句型和对话
情感态度价值观
利用学生最熟悉的文具来引出本课句型,既丰富了话题,还让学生轻松学,并对本课内容产生浓厚兴趣。

Step 1: Warm-up
1.Greeting to each other.
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello , …
2.Enjoy an English song —— The cat is in the UK. (课件出示:播放教材第35页的歌曲,包括其歌词。)
Step 2: Presentation
1.Where is the ball?
A student runs to the teacher and tells the teacher his ball is lost. Then the teacher tells students the student’s ball get lost and asks all students to help him/her to look for it in the classroom.
T: Attention,please. Our student Mike can’t find his ball now. Let’s help him find his ball in our classroom. OK
Ss: OK.
2. Look and find.
(1) Show the phrase “in the desk” on the PPT.
T: Let me see where the ball is Is it in the desk
(The teacher has a good look at some students’ desks.)
T: No, it’s not in the desk.
The teacher teaches the phrase “in the desk” by using the word card and writes it on the blackboard.
(2) Show the phrase “on the desk” on the PPT.
T: Then Let me see where is the ball Is it on the desk
(The teacher let some students have a look at it on their own desks.)
Ss: No.
T: No, it’s also not on the desk.
The teacher teaches the phrase “on the desk” by using the word card and writes it on the blackboard.
(3) Show the phrase “under the desk” on the PPT.
T: Then Let me see where is the ball Is it under the desk
(The teacher asks some students to find it under their own desks.)
S1: Yes! It’s under my desk!
T: Great! It’s under the desk.
The teacher teaches the phrase “under the desk” by using the word card and writes it on the blackboard.
3. Learn the sentences.
Write down the sentences on the blackboard.

4. Teach “Silly me!”.
T: Oh, no!Boys and girls,I can’t find my English book now. Can you help me find it
(The English book is in the teacher’s hand.)
Ss: Ha,it’s in your hand.
T: Oh, silly me!
The teacher teaches “Silly me!” on the PPT and asks students to read it three times. (课件出示: 短语“Silly me! 我真傻!”并配相应的图。)
Step 3: Practice
1. Let’s talk.
(1) Ask and answer.
T: Zhang Peng and John are about to go home. But what are they looking for Let’s have a look. Before watching, please read the following questions first.
Q1:Where is Zhang Peng’s pencil box?
Q2:Where is Zhang Peng’s pencil?
(2) Watch the video. (课件出示:教材P38 Let’s talk的视频)
(3) Answer and check.
(4) Read after watching the video.
(5) Practice the dialogue in groups and in pairs.
(6) Play a role.
2. Let’s try.
Students make a new dialogue with their classmates like this:
S1: Where is…
S2: It’s in/on/under…
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
1. Make a conversion.
(1) If the students don’t know how to do,the teacher can makes an model first.
T: Let’s go...!
S1: OK!
T: Uh-oh! Where is my ...
S1: Look! It’s ... your ...
T: Silly me! Thanks!
The teacher divides the students in several groups. And students make their own dialogues.
2. Let’s play.
(1)The teacher take out six objects by using word cards. Each object is in different place. (课件出示:课桌上有一个文具盒 一些书,课桌里有一根钢笔,一根铅笔和一块橡皮,课桌下面有一个篮球,椅子上有一个书包的图片)
The teacher makes an example like this:
T: Where is the ruler
S1: The ruler is in the pencil-box.
Then students make dialogues in pairs as the above model.
Put some word cards about school things in the box. Then according the pictures,write a dialogue with blanks. Ask students to fill in the blanks by using the words in the box.

教学反思
1.本节课一开始用创设情境的教学方法,通过帮助一只叫作咪咪的猫寻找球的故事将介词和对话完全地展现在学生的面前,吸引了学生的注意力,提高了学生的课堂参与度。
2.在寻找球的过程中,引出了三个新的介词短语in the desk, on the desk, under the desk,紧接着引出句型“—Where is my… —It’s in/on/under…”。
3.在拓展环节,围绕本课的重难点句型进行操练,整个课堂的教学比较流畅,同时也能结合旧的知识引入新的知识,注重了课内外知识的结合和拓展。
