内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit3第五课时。在Let’s learn中,
Zoom寻找玩具船,妈妈来帮忙。在此过程中,呈现了三会单词:cap,ball,car,boat,map,以及重点句式:Where is my boat?Is it in your toy box?No,it isn’t. 在Let’s do 中,是五个指令。由5个动词与5个三会单词组合成的动作短语。可以与学生进行听、做动作、猜短语等活动,让学生在重复动作的同时,掌握五个词汇的发音及词义。
课时目标
知识与能力
(1)借助卡片 课件 教材图片等,能够听 说 认读单词“cap, ball, car, boat, map”。
(2)能够熟练运用上述单词并通过多种活动操练句型“Where is… ” “—Is it in/on/under… —Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.”。
(3)能够听懂指令并做出正确的动作。
过程与方法
首先,通过两两活动和小组活动,复习上一节课所学内容,为这节课的新知
打基础。然后再用不同的方法引出新单词和操练新单词,让学生学会用英语思考问题,懂得单词的含义,并且熟读单词。
其次,让学生通过观看视频,回答问题,进一步巩固学生对目标语言的掌握。
也可以通过不同的活动和游戏将五个生词串联在一起,让学生在有趣的环境中操练单词,寓教于乐,使课堂教学氛围轻松活跃。
最后,和学生一起游戏,从而巩固学生对指令的掌握,并且活跃课堂气氛。

通过做动作猜短语的游戏,让学生对本节课所学内容,充分感兴趣,并培养他们的反应能力。

Step 1: Warm-up & Revision
Greeting to each other.
Revision.
Work in pairs.
One student hides his/her one of school things, and ask the other student to look for the school thing.
S1: Where is my pencil box
S2: Is it in/on/under…
S1: Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t.
S2 need to have a guess constantly until he/she is right. Then take an exchange each other.
(2)Work in groups.
Students try to make a dialogue in groups.
For example
S1: Where is my book
S2: Is it in your bag
S1: No, it isn’t.
S3: Is it under your book
S1: No, it isn’t.
S4: Is it on your desk
S1: Yes, it is.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Present a big box.
T: Attention,please. Look! This is a big box. There are many toys in it. Can you guess what’s in it
2. Teach the word “car”.
(1) The teacher shows the picture of the car through the PPT. (课件出示:一张汽车的照片。)
T: Do you know what it is
Ss: Car. (If students can not say it in English,they can say it in Chinese instead.)
T: Great! It is a toy car.
(2) The teacher takes out a toy car from the box and then shows the word card at the same time.
(3) Teach students to read “car” by the game “High and low voice”.
3. Teach the word “ball”.
(1) The teacher presents a picture about students are playing basketball.(课件出示:一群学生正在打篮球。)
T: What are they doing
Ss: They are playing a ball.
T: Yes. They are playing a ball.
(2) The teacher takes out a ball from the box and then shows the word card at the same time.
(3) Teach students to read “ball” by the game“I say and you do”. Students do the action when the teacher read the word.
4. Teach the word “cap”.
(1) The teacher shows a cap. (课件出示:一个帽子的图片)
T: What is it
Ss: A cap.
T: Yes. It is a cap.
(2) The teacher takes out the cap from the box and then shows the word card.
(3) Teach students to read “cap” by the game“Pass the cap”. Each student passes a cap while reading the word. The teacher judges which team reads correctly and the best.)
5. Teach the word “boat”.
(1) The teacher presents a picture about rowing a boat. (课件出示:一张划船的照片。)
T: Do you know what are they doing
Ss: They are rowing a boat. (If students can not say it in English,they can say it in Chinese instead.)
T: Good job. They are rowing a boat.
(2) The teacher takes out a toy boat from the box and then shows the word card.
(3) Teach students to read “boat” while doing the action of rowing a boat.
6. Teach the word “map”.
(1) The teacher presents a map of the world.(课件出示:一张世界地图。)
T: Do you know what it is
Ss: It is a map. (If students can not say it in English,they can say it in Chinese instead.)
T: Well done, map.
(2) The teacher takes out a map from the box and then shows the word card.
(3) Teach students to read “map”by the game“High and low voice”.)
7. Listen and answer. (课件出示:教材P42 Let’s learn的视频)
T: Watch the video and answer the following questions.
Q1:Is Zoom’s boat in his toy box?
No,it is not.
Q2:Where is Zoom’s boat
It is on the map.
First,answer the questions.
Then the teacher check the answers with students together.
Step 3: Practice
Let’s guess.
The teacher puts the five toys into a big box, and then cover them by color cards.
Shows the toys one by one slowly. Ask students to guess what it is.
T: Class,can you guess what it is?
Ss: …
(Which one is the fastest,the teacher can give an award.)
2. Words flash.
Students speak out the words which they see as quickly as they can. The teacher gives an award to the winner who is the fastest.
3. Let’s do.
(1) The teacher presents the five sentences which are on Page 42 in the textbook.
(2) Students listen to the recording carefully and try to read after it. (课件出示:教材P42 Let’s do的视频)
(3) Work in pairs. One student give instructions and the other student do the actions. Then take an exchange each other.
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
Guess what he/she does.
The students guess while the teacher does an action.
T:Now,I will do an action. You should guess what I am doing. Do you understand?

(2) Choose one student to the front and do an action and let the others guess.
