内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit5第五课时。在Let’s learn中,
大家在聊不喜欢的水果,进而引出三会水果名词:watermelon,strawberry,grape。和表达不喜欢的句式“I don’t like... ”“Me,neither.”在Let’s chant中,通过小歌谣来表达自己对水果的喜好。涉及到了grape,watermelon,strawberry,orange四种水果的复数形式。进一步熟悉重点单词的表达,能够做到听懂、会说。同时,还需要引导学生意识到水果对健康的益处,让他们喜欢水果,养成良好的饮食习惯。

(2)能够运用句型“—I don’t like… —Me, neither.”来表达自己不喜欢某种水果。

过程与方法
首先,通过让学生观察图片,猜一猜相应的水果,引出单词“watermelon(s), strawberry(strawberries)”。再借助课件呈现单词和教授新单词,可以激发学生的学习兴趣,操练单词的同时滚动复习句型“Do you like… ”。比如用猜一猜来引出“grape(s)”,呈现形式多样化。利用“唱反调”的活动教授单词,营造积极的学习氛围,吸引学生的注意力。
还用“火眼金睛”的小游戏操练单词,充分调动学生的多种感官,既活跃了课堂气氛,又加强了学生对新单词的记忆。
其次,让学生带着问题观看文本动画,整体感知文本,获取有用信息。教师播放录音,学生跟读,引导学生按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,并能在小组中进行角色表演。然后让学生创编对话,既操练单词,同时又复习巩固句型。
最后,让学生听chant录音然后出示对应的水果卡片,操练并巩固水果单词。跟读歌谣并在小组间排练展示,学生在有节奏的说唱中加深对单词和句型的记忆。在活动和游戏中操练并巩固单词和句型。

通过小歌谣,学生意识到水果对健康的益处,从而喜欢水果,并养成良好的饮食习惯。

Step 1: Warm-up & Revision
1.Greeting to each other.
2.Sing a song—An apple a day. (课件出示:播放歌曲,包括其歌词。)
3.Revision.
The teacher presents some pictures of fruit and leads students to have a discussion one by one.
Make a model:(教材第51页Let’s talk)
T: Have some grapes.
S1: Thanks. I like grapes.
T: Have some grapes.
S2: Sorry, I don’t like grapes. Can I have some bananas
T: Here you are. Have some apples.
S3: Thank you. I like apples.

Step 2: Presentation
1. Teach the new words.
(1) Learn the word “watermelon(s)” with the word card.(课件出示:半个西瓜的图片。)
T: Look, children! Do you know what fruit it is
Ss: 西瓜。(If the students can not say in English,they can answer in Chinese.)
T: Good ! It’s a watermelon. Put a picture of “watermelon” on the PPT. Ask students to listen to the word recording and teach the word “watermelon” by the game “High and low voice”.
Then show a picture of “some watermelons” on the PPT. Try to read the words after the teacher first. Let students ask their partners with the sentence pattern “Do you like… ”
(2) Teach the word “strawberry (strawberries)”. (课件出示:一个草莓或多个草莓的图片)
T: Look, children ! Do you know what fruit it is
Ss: 草莓 (If the students can not say in English,they can answer in Chinese.)
T: Bingo! It’s a strawberry.
Show a picture of “a strawberry” on the PPT. Let students listen to the word recording and play the game “Jump and say” to teach the word “strawberry”.
Then show a picture of “some strawberries” on the PPT. Students follow the teacher to read the words. Students try to ask their partners by using sentence pattern “Do you like… ”
(3) Teach the word “grape(s)”.
T: Now, I will act as a fruit. My colour is purple. I look like a small egg. Can you guess who I am
Ss: 葡萄。(If the students can not say in English,they can answer in Chinese.)
T: Well done!
Present two word cards of “a grape” and “grapes” on the PPT. Through playing the game “Catch the finger” to teach the words.
Ask students to ask their partners by using the sentence pattern “Do you like… ”
2. Play a game —— Sharp eyes.
Present the words “apple, banana, pear, orange, grape, watermelon, strawberry” on the PPT one by one. (出示课件)
T: Now, let’s play a game. If you know the words, you can stand up and say them out in English as fast as possible.
3. Let’s learn.
(1) Watch and say.
Play the video of “Let’s learn” for the first time. Students need to think about the following question while watching it.
Q1:What fruit can you see
Grapes! /Watermelons!/Strawberries!
Q2:Do you like them?
Yes,I do. / No,I don’t.
Q3:What fruit do you like?
I like ... / I don’t like ...
(2) Show the dialogue on the PPT. (出示课件) Then teach the students a new sentence “Me, neither.”
Make a dialogue with a student and lead him/her to answer the question by using “I don’t like…”. Then the other students who also dislike the fruit can say “Me, neither.”
Make a model:
T: What fruit can you see
S1:Grapes!
T: Do you like to eat them
S1: No,I don’t like the grapes.
S2:Me,neither.
(3) Read and act.
Lead students to read the dialogue after listening the recording. Students need to pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. Then practice the dialogue in groups, then act it out in front of the class.
Step 3: Practice
Let’s try.
Put a picture with many kinds of fruit on PPT. And let students look at the picture on the PPT. Then students try to make a dialogue with their partners by using “Me,neither.”
Make a model:
—I don’t like bananas.
—Me,neither.
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
1. Teach the word“taste”.
T: Boys and girls, what fruit do you like?
S1:I like grapes.
T:Why?
S1:Because they taste sweet.
T:What about oranges?
S1:I don’t like the oranges because they don’t taste sweet.
Lead students to understand the meaning of “taste”. The teacher can put some pictures of fruit on PPT. Then ask them to make sentences by themselves.
Make a model:
I like ... Because they taste ...
I don’t like ... because they don’t taste ...
2. Let’s chant.
(1) Play the video of “Let’s chant” for the first time. Ask students to listen carefully.(课件出示:Let’s chant的视频)
T: What fruit can you hear
Ss:Grapes,oranges,apples,watermelons and strawberries.
(When the students answer the name of fruit,the teacher can take out the word cards about fruit at the same time.)
(2) Play the video for the second time. Lead students to understand the meaning of the chant.
(3) Students follow the chant after listening the recording. Then let’s chant together with the teacher.
3. I ask&You say.
Show a turntable on the PPT. (课件出示:转盘游戏) Ask students to practice the following sentences in pairs.
