课时内容:
本课时是一名野外摄影师的自述。作者讲述了自己在拍摄过程中,偶遇体型庞大的熊的经过,场面令人胆战心惊,毕生难忘。作者的遭遇告诉我们:当遇到危险时,不能慌乱,更不能掉头逃跑,应该保持冷静。短文语言生动,让读者有身临其境之感。通过阅读,学生在潜移默化中学会词汇、句式的运用,提高分析问题、解决问题的能力。
课时目标:
1.掌握并记忆本课时的重点词汇 button, recover, shock, element, observe, variety, per, path, despite, concentrate, scene, image, reaction, file和短语 be known for, at a speed of, stare at, after all, end with, be based on的用法,并能熟练运用。
2.通过阅读文章,学生提取关键词,了解故事发生的先后顺序,培养学生的逻辑思维、推理判断和分析概括的能力。
3.通过了解摄影记者的遭遇,学生学会冷静、客观地处理问题,培养临危不乱、勇于克服困难的品质。

教学过程:
Step I Lead-in
Teacher shows the pictures on the screen and asks students some questions.
T: Look at the two pictures and predict what happens in the story.
