教材分析 B部分共四页,分两课时。第一课时仍然呈现情景对话和练习。Miss White 带着孩子们观察大象,孩子们开始描述它具有的具体特征。在此过程中呈现三会词汇:long, short, big, small,两会单词children, tail,以及描述动物具体特征的句式:It has a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears. Make a monster是个游戏活动。学生两人一组,利用身体部位卡片来拼图。一人说特征,一人找图卡,拼出对方描述的怪物。以此来操练重点句式:It has... 第二课时以孩子们描述鸵鸟的特征来呈现三会词汇:short, long, big, small, 以及重点句式:It has a small head. 并通过一个TPR动作反应活动Let’s do,来练习这些重点词汇。之后的阅读练习、听一听判断正误、看一看、连一连的练习以及歌曲都用来巩固练习本课的重点词汇及句型,与C部分合为一个课时。

讲授新课 Teacher leads students to review the key words in Let’s spell and do some dictation. Teacher plays a short video. Teacher presents a picture of an elephant, and leads students to talk about it. Teacher plays the short video for students to watch. Teacher plays another short video and requires students to say the chant. Teacher leads students to summarize the adjectives they have learned in this period. Review the key words in Let’s spell and do some dictation. Sing a song and review body parts. Learn to describe an elephant after the teacher. Then learn more key words in the sentence pattern It has a/an ... .Next, learn to talk about the ostrich in Let’s learn. Watch the short video and learn to read the words and conversation in Let’s learn. Then read them in front of the whole class. Watch the short video and learn to say the chant. Then do the actions in the chant. Finally, students choose the right actions for the sentences according to the pictures. Students summarize the adjectives and take some notes. 通过听写巩固自然拼读法的运用,帮助学生积累词汇量。 在复习了身体部位名称之后,请学生结合图片所示描述动物,使学生对于重点句式的理解更加深了,而且自然地引出了课文内容。然后通过听、读录音熟悉本课的重点单词和句型结构,通过chant加深印象。最后归纳出本节课所学的形容词之间的关系。
