内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit6第五课时。在Let’s learn中John
在问赛车场的工作人员,这一过程呈现了数字单词16-20,,重点问答句已经在上一个课时对话中学习过了,在这个课时里,可以提供更多的练习机会,让学生能够做到听说、认读这一重点句式。在Let’s chant中,将两个课时的重点问答句放在了一起,同时还加入了简单的加法及乘法的表达。需要让学生运用20以内的数字进行练习,以帮助其形成英语的数字思维能力。
课时目标
知识与能力
(1)能够在语境中借助图片等帮助理解新词“sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty”的意思,并能正确发音。
(2)能够听懂 会说 会正确运用句型“—How many…do you have —I have…”。
(3)能够熟练诵读Let’s chant板块的歌谣,进一步加深对重点单词和句型的理解与运用。
过程与方法
首先,通过一首欢快的歌曲复习旧知,同时可以活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣。然后在猜数量的小游戏中将之前学习的数字单词反复操练,为接下来的学习做好铺垫。
其次,根据计算结果来寻找16~19以内的基数词的拼读规律,进一步巩固本课时的重点单词,让学生有规律地记单词,而不是死记硬背。并引导学生从图片中获取所需信息,提升他们的听力技巧,并通过课文学习进一步巩固新知。
最后,通过学习歌谣,提升学生学习英语的兴趣,巩固本单元的重点词汇。通过游戏激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生在游戏中操练新单词,加深对新知的印象。
再通过创编对话,使学生有机会锻炼口头表达能力,同时使学生更加深刻地理解和掌握所学知识,从而更好地运用到学习、生活中。

在英语学习中,培养了学生数字思维能力,让学生对用英语学计算更感兴趣。

Step 1: Warm-up & Revision
1. Greeting to each other.
2. Enjoy a chant.(课件出示:教材第59页Let’s chant的音频,包括其歌词。)
Lyrics:
Hello,my friend. Please tell me.
How many cars do you see?
One,two,three ... I see eleven.
One,two,three ... I see eleven.
3. Revision.
Play a guessing game.
(1)The teacher show some pictures which are covered the parts on PPT.
(2)And then asks students to guess the number of the things.
T: Class,have a look!How many pencils in the picture1
S1: Twelve
T: No, guess again.
S2: Eight?
T: Yes, you’re right.

Step 2: Presentation
1. Let’s think.
T: Last class, we have learned “three+ten=thirteen” “four+ten=fourteen” “five+ten=fifteen”. So do you know “six/seven/eight/nine+ten”? (课件出示:six+ten至nine+ten的练习题。)

The teacher checks the answers first with students.
And the teacher teaches the new words “sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen” with the word cards.
(3) The teacher leads students to think the spelling rules of the new words. (课件出示:sixteen至nineteen的构词规律:基数词+teen后缀。)
T: Now, do you know “ten+ten”
Ss: Twenty.
T: Yes, you’re clever !
2. Let’s learn.
(1) Look and listen.
①The teacher presents the picture of “Let’s learn” on PPT. (课件出示:教材P62 Let’s learn的图片。)
T: What does John see Let’s have a look together.
②Students look at the picture first, and then listen to the recording carefully with the above question. (课件出示:教材P62 Let’s learn的音频。)
③The teacher checks the answer with students.
T: What does John see
Ss:Cars.
T:Yes,you are right!
(2) Watch and answer.
①The teacher shows the cartoon of “Let’s learn” on PPT.(课件出示:教材P62 Let’s learn的动画。)
T:How many cars do they have
②Students watch the video and answer the question.
Ss:They have twenty.
③Let’s check the answer with students.
(3) Let’s repeat.
Play the recording again and lead students to read the dialogue after listening the recording.
Step 3: Practice
1. Act out.
(1) Ask students to play roles as John and the worker in pairs.
(2) Role play in front of the class.
2. Let’s chant.
(1) The teacher presents the video of “Let’s chant”. (课件出示:教材P62 Let’s chant的视频。)
(2) Students watch the video and learn to chant after it.
3. Play a game—— Flying balloons.
T: I will fly some balloons one by one, and you must say the answer as quickly as possible. Are you ready (出示课件)
Ss: Yes.
For example:
T: What does 8 and 10 make
Ss: 8 and 10 makes eighteen.
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
Let’s try.
Make your own dialogues.
(1) The teacher shows five pictures on the PPT one by one. They are sixteen pens,seventeen books,eighteen rulers,nineteen pencil boxes,twenty crayons.
(2) Ask and answer.
Model:
S1: How many ______ do you have
S2: I have _______.
The teacher chooses some pairs to the front and show their dialogues.
(4)The teacher can reward the pairs who do a good job.
