内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册第一个复习巩固单元。
在Look and tick及Find Sarah’s family中,看图阅读。此活动以第一二单元有关性别、身份及家庭成员称呼的词汇为主要内容,在讨论中复习询问及回答家庭成员的句式。
在Find and circle中,提供了一张非常有趣的,符合孩子的喜好的图片。是只老鼠偷了一盒罐头,一个男孩气愤地扔手里的钢笔。在图下方,有一串字母,共24个。学生可以从中圈出11个单词。这些单词分别包含元音字母a,e,i,主要目的是用来复习这三个字母在单词中的短音发音。
在Sing a song中,提供了一首歌曲。包含了两个重点句式,It’s from the UK. It’s fat and white.是第一单元和第三单元的重点句式。

过程与方法
首先,复习有关描述人物的单词和介绍人物的句型,为后面的学习做准备 引导学生先熟悉单词,再仔细看图,最后将人物与单词配对,巩固单词词义及书写形式
其次,展示第二单元主情景图,带领学生回顾Sarah的主要家庭成员,并用重点句型进行描述,复习旧知 再利用课件呈现新图,让学生操练对话,逐步深入,加深学生对课本主线人物的记忆 引导学生听音找音素,复习三上的字母与音素的歌谣,培养学生的听音 辨音能力,活跃课堂氛围 根据课文插图,创设有意义的语境,激发学生兴趣,吸引学生注意力
最后,让学生找词读词并分类,增强学生的语音意识,强化学生对元音字母发音的记忆 引导学生说出更多含有相同音素的词汇,激活学生已有知识储备,培养学生积极动脑 勤于思考的习惯

Step 1: Warm-up & Revision
1.Greeting to each other.
2.Let’s chant.
Play the chant of the last lesson. Let students chant together. (课件出示:教材33页listen and chant的音频,包括其歌词。)
Step 2: Presentation
1. Look and say.
(1)The teacher puts some pictures on the PPT: teacher, boy, girl…
(2)Ask students to use the sentence pattern to talk about them.
He’s/She’s ______. (出示课件)
Model:

2. Look and tick(√).
(1) Students read the words“woman,teacher,boy,man,student,girl”
three times.
(2) Look at the picture carefully, then tick the answers.
3. Find Sarah’s family.
(1) Lead students to have a good look at their books from Page 12 to Page 13. Students read the dialogues and recall everyone. (课件出示:教材第12-13页的图片。)
(2) Use the following sentence pattern to talk about them.
—Who’s that woman/man/boy?
—He’s/She’s______.
(3) The teacher puts the picture on Page 34 on the PPT. And ask students to have a good look at it. (课件出示:教材34页的图片。)

2.Find and circle.
(1)Look and say.
The teacher presents the picture of “Find and circle” on the PPT. Have a guess what they are talking about. (课件出示:教材P35 Find and circle的图片)
T:Look, class!There is a man in the picture. What’s wrong with him?
Ss:He is angry and shouting.(If students can’t say in English,they can say in Chinese.)
The teacher teaches the word “angry” by body languages.
T:Yes!And he is running after a rat! Can you guess why he is doing that
(Lead students to have a discussion and answer.)
Ss: Because maybe the rat steals something from the man’s home.
T: You’re so clever. The rat steals the can and the man uses the pens to run after the rat. Do you know how many pens you can see

(2)Read and circle.

Show the words which we have circled on the PPT. Lead students to read the words one by one three times first. Then classify the words with students according to the pronunciation of the letters “a”, “e” and “i”.

Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
1.Challenge.

②Let them think of more words with the pronunciation.
③Choose one student of each group to share their words.
④Which group can find most words,the group is winner. The teacher can give the group rewards.
2. Sing a song.
(1) Listen and answer.(课件出示:教材第35页Sing a song的音频,包括其歌词。)
The teacher can play the song first and ask students to listen carefully and try to answer the following questions.

Students think about the questions while listening to the song .
(2) Sing the song.
Students sing the song after the recording. Practice in groups. Then sing together.
