内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册第一个复习巩固单元。
Read aloud是个阅读故事,发生在Chen Jie,Wang Tong,John之间。在三个人介绍、交流的过程中,复习到了询问及回答人身份以及把朋友介绍给他人的句式。还有询问他人国籍和描述人特征的句式。一个小故事囊括了三个单元的重点知识,在教学中要为学生设计可以综合使用所学知识的话题情境,使学生能够自己灵活应用所学的知识来进行交流,提高他们的语言表达能力。
在Listen and chant部分里,主要以小鸟和熊猫的特征为主要内容,复习了第三单元中学习到的形容词以及如何描述动物特征的词汇及句式。
在Match and read aloud部分里,要求学生根据所给出的形容词和动物图片,来进行相互匹配,考查学生对于描述动物特征的掌握情况,也能复习形容词的用法。
课时目标

(1)复习初次见面时的常用问候语以及向别人介绍自己朋友的句型。
(2)在教材创设的情景中复习询问并回答来自哪个国家的句型。
(3)培养学生的观察能力和模仿能力,进一步培养学生大胆开口 勇于在实际情景中运用语言的能力。
(4)复习有关动物的单词和描述动物的形容词。
(5)听懂 会唱与动物有关的歌谣。
过程与方法
首先,让学生根据典型的建筑图片说出对应的国家,利用各国的代表性动物让学生复习 操练表示国家的单词和句型“I’m from…” 根据课件人物图片的呈现引导学生复习句型“He’s/She’s…” 通过呈现Mike的家庭树带领学生复习关于家人的单词和询问及介绍家人的句型 在活动中复习,避免形式单一的操练,可以激发学生的兴趣,为后面阅读的教授奠定基础 用学生熟悉的“樱桃小丸子”的家庭树加以操练,激发学生的学习兴趣
其次,利用课件图片的呈现,引导学生复习描述动物特征的形容词和句型“Look at that… It’s…”,为后面的拓展活动做好准备 播放录音,学生听录音跟读 引导学生按照正确的语音 语调及意群朗读对话,并能在小组中进行角色表演
最后,引导学生观看图片 讨论panda和bird的特征,并带着问题观看动画,整体感知chant,一起学唱歌谣 再引导学生讨论和描述动物特征,再完成连线活 鼓励学生仿写chant,开放性的练习有利于培养学生的发散性思维

通过配音和角色扮演,锻炼学生的口语能力。建立友好的朋友关系,懂礼貌,讲文明。

Step 1: Warm-up & Revision

2. Sing a song—At the zoo. (课件出示:播放教材第30页Let’s sing的音频,包括其歌词。)
3. Play a game——Catch the paper planes.
(1)The teacher puts the paper planes with the words of the last three units on PPT one by one. (出示课件)
T: Who knows the word, she/he can stand up and read it aloud.Are you ready?

Step 2: Presentation

1. Round 1.
(1) The names of the nations.
The teacher shows some pictures of different countries: Big Ben, the CN Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, the Great Wall.
T:Look,children!Please speak out the names of the nations according to the pictures. (出示课件)
(2) Look and say.
The teacher shows some animals on the PPT: panda, beaver, bald eagle, kangaroo. Ask students to guess the nations of the animals.
Model:

(3) Let’s try.
The teacher presents some pictures of Chen Jie, Mike, Wu Yifan and Miss White. Lead students to make sentences by using the following words. (出示课件)
teacher, he, she, student.
For example:

2. Round 2.
(1) Can you say?
The teacher put a family tree of Mike on the PPT. (课件出示:一张Mike的全家福照片一张。)
Lead students to describe the family tree.
T: Hi, I’m Mike. This is my family. Look, this is my ?
(The teacher points to the characters one by one which are on the family tree. And ask students to answer who they are one by one. )

3. Round 3.
(1)Look and circle.
First,the teacher presents some pictures on the PPT. Secondly,let students look at the pictures carefully. Third,the teacher circles one of the pictures and let students choose the corresponding word. Finally,students read the word three times.
①Show a tall tree and a short tree and circle the tall one. Ask students to choose the word between“tall”and “short”.
②Show a fat cat and a thin monkey and circle the thin one. Ask students to choose the word between“fat”and “thin”.
③Show a big elephant and a small dog and circle the elephant. Ask students to choose the word between“small”and “big”.
(2)Look and say.
The teacher shows some pictures of different animals on the PPT. They are giraffe, elephant, panda, monkey, rabbit, pig and so on. And then ask students to choose one at random and try to describe it.(课件出示:一些动物的图片。)

①Ask students to have a good look at the pictures on page 32. (课件出示:教材P32 Read aloud的图片) Let students guess the main ideas of the dialogues. Then answer the following questions by discussing in groups.

②Plays the video for the first time. (播放课件) Students watch the cartoon carefully and answer the questions.

①Students try to read after the recording.(出示课件)Pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.

Practice the dialogues in groups first. Then take out the headwears and ask them to act out the dialogues.
