Unit 4 Developing ideas & Presenting ideas名师教学设计
课时内容：
Developing ideas包括两部分：第一部分 Good book，Bad movie？是一篇议论文，主要探讨的内容是读原著还是看电影。电影时间短暂，在短短的两个小时内呈现出本书所承载的内容，是否缺失了内容。因此引发学生关于“好的原著，坏的电影”的讨论及关于原著和电影的思考。第二部分 Writing a movie review展示了《公主日记》的影评，并引导学生归纳思考影评的主要内容：一般介绍、主要情节、经典难忘的镜头以及自己的评论、看法等。通过这些活动，让学生初步掌握影评的文体特点和写作方法。
Presenting ideas要求学生向全班同学推荐一档自己最喜欢的节目，包括内容简介和推荐理由。
课时目标：
1.知识素养：
（1）通过快读、跳读等阅读方式，获取文中的主要信息。
（2）掌握并记忆本课时的重点词汇 escape, disappointed, extent, behave, responsibility, absence 以及短语 live up to, to some extent的用法。
2.能力素养：
（1）在理解文章内容的基础上，通过解决所设置的题目，培养学生分析问题、解决问题的思维品质。
（2）学会文中具体词汇、句型的用法，并能熟练运用。
3.情感素养：
通过观看不同影视节目和阅读影评，让学生进一步了解不同的影片及名著，培养高尚的审美情趣，提高文化素养，并激发热爱文学的热情。
重点难点：

教学过程：
Step I Lead-in
Ask students some questions.
（1）What famous works have you read？
（2）Have you ever seen the movies or TV plays based on these books？What do you think of them？
【设计意图】通过简短的问答，引入本课时的内容，并引发学生的思考，让学生进入课本设置的情境：读原著还是看电影、电视，并简述自己的看法，进一步接近文章主题。

【设计意图】通过设置该部分复述的线索提示，让学生进一步理清议论文的写作主线，按照“论点—论据—结论”来构思文章，在论据部分可列举相关事例，增强说服力。学生根据关键线索提示，能够理清文章脉络，获取关键信息，学习议论文写作，从而提高阅读理解的能力和水平。
