1.教材分析
本模块第二单元主要是Unit1的知识的延伸，以第一单元的知识背景作为铺垫，有利进一步的学习和拓展，重点学习如何运用简单的英文句子询问他人的年龄及回答。所涉及的内容是日常生活中常见的话题，培养学生通过学习本单元内容，能运用到真实情境中与他人进行简单的交流，有利于培养学生的语言交际能力。
2.学情分析
本单元主要是询问和谈论年龄的相关话题，与学生的实际生活密相关，比较容易理解，学生也是比较感兴趣的，主要是能够在实践生活中准确的运用。三年级学生初步接触英语，所学的语言知识结构比较简单，所学的话题不多。因此在教学过程中多使用动画教学，创设情境，游戏，儿歌等进行教学，有助于学生更好的理解，同时也有利于培养学生学习兴趣。
3.教学目标
能够听懂、会说：old , how old , yes , you’re. 能够准确听说认读句子:How old are you 的句型，并会用I’m...做出正确回答。 能够听懂、会说、会表演对话内容，学会运用英文询问他人的年龄及回答的日常用语进行对话交流。 4.了解西方小朋友带年龄卡的习惯。
4.教学重难点
重点：能够运用I’m...表达自己的年龄。 2.难点：能够运用句型“How old are you I’m...”进行回答。

Show me seven and eight. Show me nine and ten. 2.Teacher put on Sam’s headdress to greet the students: “Hello .I’m Sam. How old am I ” Then show the age card with the number 9 on it and said to the students: “Look I’m nine.” 通过师生互动，歌曲导入，有利于学生尽快进入学习状态，激活学生背景知识，加上游戏环节，激发学生学习兴趣，调动学生学习的积极性，引出本课年龄的话题，为接下来的学习做铺垫，营造轻松活跃的课堂氛围。

Q:How old is Daming 5.Role-play in pair Part 2. 通过让学生感知课文，在听的过程中，借助图片的帮助理解课文，并且捕捉有效信息回答问题。跟读可以训练学生音语调，分角色朗读读课文进一步加强了对课文内容的理解及对语言的运用。
