Module 2 Unit 1 London is a big city.
教学目标：1.全体学生能认读理解词汇：city, ship, beautiful, whose, queen, close, London, Buckingham Palace.
2. 全体学生能运用词汇：city, ship, beautiful, whose, close.
3.全体学生能运用London is a big city. My house is very small, but it’s beautiful. 这类语句来描述一座城市或建筑; 以Whose 引导的询问物主关系的句型以及回答。
情感目标：通过接触外国文化，扩宽视野，增强跨文化意识。
教学重点：1.掌握本课重点词汇：city，ship, beautiful, whose, close.
2.掌握本课句型：London is a big city. My house is very small, but it’s beautiful.
理解并能运用：---Whose house is it
---It’s the Queen’s house.
教学难点：Buckingham Palace的正确读音；能够灵活运用所学的形容词和句型描述建筑物以及以Whose 引导的询问物主关系的问答。
教具准备：ppt, 点读笔，单词卡片等。
教学过程：
Step1 Warm-up
1.T. greets with Ss.
2．火眼金睛记单词。
3. 出示几张图片，让学生运用This is … He/She is…
This is … It is… 进行描述（教学ship）。
Step2 Presentation
1. activity1: Listen, point and say.
T: Now, let’s take this big ship to a big city.
2.activity2:出示一本有关London 的书的图片，T：What’s this Ss:… T: What is about Ss:… T: Yes. And London is a big city（板书）同时带领学生学习新词“city, London”。
T.：Now, let’s look at some pictures about London. 出示一些伦敦的标志性的建筑物的图片(e.g. the London Eye, the Queen’s house （通过图片的形式教学queen并引出beautiful进行学习）；Buckingham Palace…呈现白金汉宫的简介)
3．Learn the text.
T: London is a big city. I like London. Do you like it Ss…
T: Amy and Lingling also like London. Now let’s see what they are talking about.
a.播放第一遍动画录音，学生整体认知课文内容，并从文中框出“ big, beautiful, small”.
b.分段播放第二遍动画录音，分别回答以下问题。

②Whose house is it （教学whose）

c.跟读录音，模仿课文语音语调。
