★教学内容分析: 本课是五年级下册第三单元第三课,主要讲述 Danny和Jenny寄明信片找邮局和在邮局买邮票的场景。重点学习并能在实际生活中运用句型:Where is____ Go straight.Turn left at the traffic lights.
How much is/are_____ It’s/They’re_____yuan.
★学情分析:问路找地方及买东西问价钱的相关知识学生在四年级时就已学过,所以本课知识点的学习与掌握对五年级孩子来说应该会相对容易一些。
Teaching objective
a. To know and grasp the words: post, office, light, traffic, need,wrong---right, turn.
b. To know , graspand use the phrases:send the postcard,go straight,turn left,traffic lights,at the postoffice. And sentence patterns:

b. Be able to use the phrases and sentences in daily life.

PPT, The tape, signs of different shops and material objects.
Teaching procedures:
Step1:Warm-up
1. Let’s chant, dance and move your body.
Left, left, right, right.
Turn left, go, go, go.
Left, left, right, right.
Turn right, go, go, go.
Left, left, right, right.
Go straight, go, go, go.
Step2: Presentation.
1. Lead-in.
Show pictures , ask and answer questions:
T: Today, I want to introduce 2 old friends to you. Who are they (show the picture of Danny and Jenny)
S: They are Danny and Jenny..
T: Do you know What’s in their hand
S: It’s a postcard.
T: Can you guess where will they go today
S: They want to go to the post office.(show the picture of post office).
T: Good. And do you know what do they want to do at the post office
S: They want to send the postcard.
T: Today, let’s help Danny and Jenny to send the postcards. Lesson 15 Sending the postcards.
T: To help Danny and Jenny send the postcards. You must pass the two challenges. Are you ready Let’s go .
2. Part 1 learning Find the post office.
a. Listen to the recorder twice and answer the question. *Where is the post office
--Go straight.Turn left at the traffic lights.
*Drills:Page43.2.
*Pair-work.

B:Go straight.Turn left at the traffic lights.You will see the hotel on the right.

b.Read Part 1 3 times and try to recite this part with pictures.. Read- - recite—draw--recite
3.Part 2 learning.
*What do Danny and Jenny do at the pos toffice
a.Read Part 2 once by themselves and circle the misunderstanding words and phrases.
b. Read after recorder once. And choose the right answer to the questions.

c.Read Part 2 in pairs and fill in the right numbers to complete the sentences.

Reflect after class:本课主要让学生掌握:1.问路:“Where is… ” 2.问价钱:“How much is / are… It is/They are….I’ll take____.”这两个句型。教学中,我通过听一听、看一看,说一说,练一练,写一写等活动,让学生在做一做,玩一玩,演一演的活动中学会并会用这几个句型进行语言实践练习,可能是本节课的教学内容和所设计的活动比较贴近学生的生活实际,学生在学习时特别投入,生成效果出乎我的预设。孩子们的能力有时真是不能低估!
