1、 教材分析
本课主要围绕“天气”展开话题，教材展示了各种天气变化，为学生创设了了解天气，描述天气的情景，从而激发学生们热爱大自然的情怀。
2、 教学目标
1、 掌握词汇： shower storm thunder rise sunrise set sunset
短语: be scared of talk about. .
2、 语言技能：通过本课学习，培养学生良好的“听、说、读、写”的技能，使学生能用英语写一则天气预报。

掌握描述天气的词汇
4、 学生准备：
了解当天的天气，让学生们作介绍

六、教学步骤
Step1. Lead-in
T: boys and girls! Shall we begin our class now Can you tell me what’s your favourite season？Ask some students.Then say :We know everyone likes spring. Me too. Today we are going to learn Lesson 1 How’s the weather (show spring’s picture) （理念：用熟知的话题导入能引起学生共鸣，吸引学生主动参与，激发学生的表现欲，活跃了课堂气氛，营造英语学习氛围，使学生很快进入角色）
Step2. pictures show and new words.
Show some pictures about sping and learn the new words （理念：教师边讲边显示屏幕上的相关图片，并通过图片来进行单词、词组教学）
Step3. Reading
Ask several students to read the text and pay attention to the new words.
The students read it again and discuss together about a weather report in
“Let’s Do It” Part1 （理念：用快速阅读来培养学生整体获取信息的能力）
Step4. Listening
T：Now listen to the tape and ask some students to answer the questions .

Divide the class into small groups，write the following word on the blackboard: weather temperature degree rise set (理念：学生以小组为单位讨论的气温、日出、日落，充分体现了新课程的自主探究，合作交流的学习方式，促使学生互相学习，互相帮助，发展合作的精神)

八、教学反思
本节课是本册的第一课，通过对上册知识的了解进一步对天气的掌握，通过运用多媒体向同学们涨势了各种天气的景色来理解生词，在学习单词，短语，句子的同时要求学生理解运用取得了较好的效果，对本课的学习让学生充分掌握了各种天气的词汇的英语表达，让学生对英语产生浓厚的兴趣，同时也让学生们更加热爱大自然，学生各方面能力都获得了发展。
九、设计理念和教学效果：
根据新课标，培养学生自主，合作探究精神，突出语言运用能力具体体现在：
1.创设情境，营造自由和谐的学习气氛。
实践证明，一个自由和谐的环境可以使人的智慧充分得到发挥。因此，教师必须让学生意识到自己和老师是平等的，并且，鼓励学生积极探索，只有在这种氛围中，学生才会感到心理的安全和自由，才会积极主动活波的观察思考。通过本课的学习，培养了良好的“听、说、读、写”的技能，使学生能运用所学知识解决相关情景中的一些类似问题，并能结合所给任务综合运用新旧知识解决问题，在此基础上鼓励学生大胆根据自己语言基础能力激发并提高学生的学习兴趣，积极参与教学各环节，成为学习的主人。
2.小组合作，激发了学生的创新能力，小组合作是新课程背景下学生的一种有效的学习方式，让学生在小组里交流自己的意见，并把自己的成果展示给其他组，这种以学生为主进行的小组合作，使学生在轻松愉快的环境中实现更多的信息交流，能有效的激发学生的创新能力，有利于培养学生的创新思路，从而有效的提高教学效益，达到事半功倍的效果。
3.教学设计由易到难，科学合理，环环相扣，过度自然，比较注意学生的认知心理学生听、说、读、写的能力都得到了训练。激发并提高学生的学习兴趣，乐于接受新事物，勇于尝试体现课堂教学“主体者”的身份，积极主动参与教学各环节，教师运用多媒体教学，并通过图片进行单词、词组的教学，让学生用英语说出有关春天的词汇及最喜欢的天气和喜欢的原因，从而达到人人动脑，积极表演，反复操练激发学生的表现欲，活跃了课堂气氛，听录音并跟读提高了学生的模仿能力，从而达到了预期的效果。
