一．教学目标:
1.知识目标：①掌握单词:shy,eastern;掌握短语:eastern Asia,close up,open up,when it comes to…,along with,in the middle of…
②掌握和运用一些介绍不同植物的句型
1.Its flowers look like egrets.
2.After a few minutes,the leaves open up again.
3.If the wind blows,this amazing tree “laughs”.
4.This plant can can live as long as 1500 years ,so people call it a living fossil.
2.能力目标：
通过听力训练，还有小组合作的方式，大家一起交流，通过观看视频的形式练习目标语言，提高英语的听说能力，学会一些介绍植物的口语和句型。
3. 情感目标：了解更多植物的品种。

Step 1:Lead in（5M）
1. Say “hello” to students.
2. Watch a video about “amazing plants” and talk about following questions:

1.close up 意思是 “合起来；收起来”，它是由 “动词+副词”构成的短语，若其后接的宾语是代词，放在中间，若其后是名词，放中间或后面都可以。
Eg:①Please close up your books.=Please close your books up.
②Books are everywhere .Please close them up , Lucy.
3. When it comes to “当提到..........;就......而论”，这里的to 是介词，其后接“名词、代词或动名词”做宾语。
4. amazing adj 令人惊讶的（指物）amazed adj 感到惊讶的 （指人）
5. along with 和.....一起，是介词短语。后接名词或代词做宾语。
Eg: May I walk along with you
along with 连接两个并列主语时，句子的谓语动词要与along 前面的主语一致。
Eg: I ,along with my mother , am going to go shopping.
6. Continue to do sth 表示“继续做某事”，指这件事情做好了要继续做一件事。
Continue doing sth 表示“继续做某事”，指继续刚刚做的那件事。
