内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册第二个复习巩固单元。
Read aloud是个阅读故事,猴子、鸭子、大象、鸟四种动物来到了果园,看到了许多水果。整个故事涉及到了第三个单元描述动物特征的句子,第五单元学到的水果名称,以及表达对水果的喜好的句子。还有第四单元询问物品位置的句子,第六单元的数字。一个小故事囊括了四个单元的重点知识,为学生复习、整理、归纳学习过的知识。
Listen and draw是个听力练习。提供了一个特殊的教室,学生需要认真倾听,根据听到的句子里的描述,把水果画到相应的位置上。最后学生还需要针对这幅图片进行寻宝讨论环节。此外,还要数一数地上小鸟的脚印。一个活动既训练了学生的听力理解能力,还训练了学生使用已知知识完成任务进行交流的能力。

过程与方法
首先,本课时故事的中心话题是水果,因此以这首与水果相关的歌曲开始课程,为课时重点内容的学习服务,为下一环节的活动埋下伏笔 通过问题引导学生观察并讨论图片,培养学生的观察能力 让学生通过读图来了解故事发生的地点背景
其次,让学生看动画,预测文本大意,后带着问题观察图片,帮助学生疏通文本 再分段呈现对话,出示问题,逐步引导学生跟随文本理解课本内容 通过跟读使学生掌握对话的正确语音语调
最后,通过自由读及分角色读课文,使学生在不同方式的读的活动中熟悉 巩固重点句型 然后要求学生表演课文,可以使学生提高自己的综合运用语言能力

Step 1: Warm-up & Revision
1.Greeting to each.
2. Sing a song—An apple a day. (课件出示:播放教材第54页的Let’s sing的音频,包括其歌词。)
3.Revision.
The teacher takes some word cards about fruit and ask students to make dialogues and act them out.
The teacher can make an example with a student like this:
T: Do you like apples
Ss: Yes, I do./No, I don’t.
Step 2: Presentation
1.Lead-in.
(1)The teacher shows the picture on page 66 and let students have a good look at. (课件出示:教材第66页Read aloud的图片。)
(2)Then answer the following questions.
T: Look,class!The animals will have a party tomorrow, so today they are preparing something for the party.
Q1:Where they are
(They are in the orchard(果园).)
Q2:How many animals can you see
(Four.)
Q3:Who are they
(An elephant, a bird, a duck and a monkey.)
Q4:What are they doing
(They are getting some fruit. )
(3)Check the answers.
2. Watch and answer.
(1) The teacher plays the video for the first time, and lead the students to get the main ideas of the dialogues. (课件出示:教材Read aloud的视频。)
(2)Let’s learn
①Show Picture 1. (课件出示:教材P66 Read aloud的第一幅图。)
T:Who can get the grapes, why
S1: The bird can get the grapes, because it can fly.
T:Who can get the bananas, why
S2: The elephant can get the bananas, because it’s big and tall.
T:Who can get the strawberries, why
S3: The duck can get the strawberries, because it’s short.
T: You’re great!
②Show Picture 2, 3 and 4. (课件出示:教材P66 Read aloud的第二 三 四幅图。)
T: The animals finish their work. Now the monkey is counting the number of the fruit. Let’s see what happens and answer the following questions. (Encourage students to answer the questions by using their own words.)

(They get 13 bananas.)
Q2:How many grapes do they get
(They get 20 grapes.)
Q3:Where are the bananas Who likes bananas
(The elephant gets the bananas. The monkey and the elephant like bananas.)
(3)Let students watch the video for the second time, then follow it. Pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.
3. let’s read
(1)First,ask students to read the dialogues by themselves
T: I will give you five minutes to read the dialogues freely.
Ss: (read the dialogues freely)
(2)Second,lead some students to read the dialogues in roles.
T: Now I need some students to read the dialogues in roles. Who wants to be the elephant …
Ss: (read the dialogues in roles)
(3)In the end, the teacher gives the best group the rewards.
Step 3: Practice
Act out.
The teacher asks some groups to the front.
And give out the animal headwears which students choose to act out the story.
The teacher should help the students correct their pronunciation and encourage them to act bravely.
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
Listen and draw.
1. The teacher shows the picture, and talk with students.(课件出示:教材第67页Listen and draw的图片)
T: What can you see in this picture
S1: I can see…
S2: I can see ...
...
(The students can answer the question freely.)
2. Students listen to the recording, and draw something on the picture.
T: Let’s draw something on this picture while you are listening.(课件出示:教材第67页的音频。)

T: How many footprints do you see
Ss: 19 footprints.
In the end, the teacher shows the answer on the PPT. (课件出示:答案及听力材料)
