Narrator: The baby dinosaur is talking to his
mother. He says,
Baby dinosaur: Mum, I want to play football.
Narrator: The mother dinosaur replies,
Mother dinosaur: Don't be silly. Do your homework. It
must be completed today.
Narrator: The baby dinosaur finishes his
homework and says,
Baby dinosaur: Mum, I've finished my homework.
Can I play football now
Narrator: The mother dinosaur answers,
Mother dinosaur: Dinosaurs don't play football.
Narrator: The baby dinosaur goes to the City
Sports Centre and asks the team
captain of the Blue Team,
Baby dinosaur: Can l play for the Blue Team, Captain

How to make a cartoon
First, you need to decide on some basic ideas for a story.
In the second stage, think about the kinds of characters you want and what they will look like.
Now make a rough sketch of the story.
Next, use a computer to draw detailed pictures and add colour. To make the characters and things appear to move, each picture should be made a little different from the one before it.

课文复述
  There are six stages to make a cartoon. First, you need to decide on some basic ideas for a story. Second, you should think about the kinds of characters you want and what they will look like. Third, you should use a computer to draw detailed pictures, to add colour and to make the characters and things appear to move. Next, a computer program is used to put the pictures together as a film. Finally, record the voices and sound effects. You should use actors to do the characters’ voices. Sound effects must also be added separately. After everything has been checked, the cartoon is ready to be played for everyone to enjoy.
